Wooden Rotating Jewelry Card, Bracelet, Necklace and Ring Display
This is a all natural wooden display that that rotates and has four sides which holds jewelry cards. Bracelets, necklaces and rings. Two sections of this display holds jewelry cards, the hooks are made of black metal that measure 1 3/8 inches from the back of the display. There are two sections of card displays which are located on opposite sides. There is a bracelet and necklace section which has a background that is covered in black velvet. The ring section has six dowel rods that run from top to bottom of the display and can be pulled from the top of the display to secure the rings in place. This section has two options on how you would like to display your rings. One, is to display the rings in the middle of the dowel rods to be held freely on the rod. The present auction is for three brass. Wood and glass Parisian Jewelry cases. Two larger and one small. They are in great shape for their age( which I believe is early 1920's-30's) They are missing finials on the top corners( see pics) which could be replaced. I believe the wood to be walnut. Two of the cases( one large and the smaller one) have the original burgundy fabric on the bottom. We purchased them about 8 years ago from a local dealer but never used. Vintage Hand-Made Wood/Glass Jewelry Display Box
This is a VERY unusual piece! It's an old hand-made jewelry display case(I wish I knew just how old) The type of wood is unknown. But appears to have some dove-tail construction. The handle appears to be brass. The glass is sturdy. Slightly beveled, and is 1/4" thick and measures 15" X 8-1/4" There are a few minor scratches on the glass, but overall appears to be in relatively good condition. The display case height is 3-1/2" tall. The display drawer slides out and is covered with a green velvet-like cloth with two main dividers and a total of 18 sections(no slots to hold rings) I will package this item with utmost care and ship within two days of receipt of payment. Purchased from a Dillard's that was going out of business outside of Denver about four years ago. I was told she was used to display jewelry. This lady makes quite a statement with her bustled skirt and smooth lines. Made of metal she is very solid and sturdy. The pictures are in too much shadow. But her coloring is a smooth cream color. She does have a nick on the back of her bustle which I tried to capture in picture 8; nothing too distracting and can easily be touched-up. She stands 16-1/2" high and is 11-1/2" wide at the wides point which is from the front to back of her skirt. She will be carefully packaged with lots of bubble wrap.
