Very cool U.S. Mint souvenir display from 1959 of an"Authentic U.S. Penny Coin Die" Which is engraved in metal on the front. This display consists of a metal die stamp and two U.S. pennies minted in 1959 mounted to a varnished wood base and covered with a glass dome. The die stamp has a serial number on the base of"D4-476595" The two copper pennies are mounted with one heads up with the date of 1959, and the other tails up. The entire display measures 5.5" tall to the top of the dome on a 3.5" diameter round base, and weighs 14 oz. I really hate to part with this cool Antique Slant Front Display Case. I finally sold my boarded up store front. And need to clear out the space. I'm sorry about the poor pictures, as the only defect is dirt. All the glass is good, no chips or cracks. The lower marble base front is just dirty and needs a good cleaning. 8' Long x 51" Tall x 26" deep at base. And 14.5" deep at the top. This case is the real deal. It's old, it's cool, and in very nice condition. Roller bearing sliding doors, with lower storage. Glass shelves are all adjustable. I would guess this display to be from the 1920's or 30's. Up for bid is a vintage Mexican tall jewelry or display box with etched/engraved glass panels in a brass frame. This box is 9 inches tall and 4 inches at its widest point. The glass panels are 2 1/8 inches wide. This type of collectible ... morebox in good condition is getting difficult to find. At least in my experience. All the glass panels are intact with no chips or cracks and they are all secure in the brass frames. One of the panels opens up and the closure is in good working order. A brass hook is attached at the top center to hang items or jewelry. There is some patina to the brass frame and rust on the bottom(see photo) There are no signatures or other identifying marks on this piece that I could see. I have three similar boxes here that I acquired in Mexico in the 1960's and 1970's. So I'm pretty sure this one is also from Mexico and around the same time period. This box weighs 15.8 ounces and is in fair(rust on bottom) to very good condition. I ship all fragile items such as this in either double-wall boxes or box-in-box with lots of bubble wrap and packing peanuts to prevent breakage. These boxes do weigh more than a regular box. Raw steel display case. Is a new unique alternative to the traditional chrome display cases available to retailers today and in the past. A modern industrial display concept. This case was custom manufactured from raw steel which was cut. Bent and fabricated by hand. You will be able to see weld marks, weathering, ware and other distresses associated with this form of fabrication. Fabulous built quality, all custom, one of a kind. Great investment potential. Useful for jewelry trade. Hand bags or any collectables. Great for retail store. Sets your image for display image sales. While this is octagon. One of the eight sections is the entry to the middle of the case. The seven triangular sections each measure 38 and 1/2" on the outsise, 20" on the inside and side angles measure 27" Shaped like an apple pie. Each of the seven ... moresections is covered by a 1/2" glass. All glass can be removed for easy display, for shipping and for replacment if necessary.The case stands 39" high. There is approximately 8" between the glass and the shelf. Plenty of storage space beneath each section. When standing in the center, each section has a lockable steel door on hindges for access to displayed product. It has eight raw steel legs(2"square) on industrial rollers for easy moving and the entire case can split in half for transportation. This is a very heavy piece and shipping will be expensive. I have information on a world wide mover and they will crate and package and ship at your expence. The yellow leather draping that surrounds the case can be removed easily as they are on a steel rod.
