Coors Bar or Tavern Serving Tray This is your typical Vintage serving tray from Coors this is in the classic red color with white print. The tray is round and about 13” across the center of the tray. This tray has the 1½” rim around it. This tray has a little damage to the rim where the paint is chipping a bit and on the bottom there are scratches from sliding it up on the bar also around the bottom edge the paint has pretty much just been warn off from use However still in very nice shape. This bottle(Circa: 1790’s- 1800) commonly called a utility bottle was recovered from a partially submerged and destroyed Port Royal tavern as the result of the 1692 Jamaican earthquake that caused approximately ½ of what was labeled the richest and most wicked city in the world where one out of every four buildings was a tavern or brothel. Port Royal’s citizens included pirates. Privateers, and notable individuals who lived for periods of time in the city. Two are well known: Lieutenant Governor Henry Morgan(1650’s- 1688) and Lord Horatio Nelson who was stationed for a short time at Fort Charles. The latter may have drunk from this bottle as it dates to his period of time. The most unusual(rarely if ever found) when the bottle was recovered ... moreit contained sediment that upon removal exposed a good portion of the bottle’s original cork. The cork artifact was promptly preserved which lends credibility to the nearly perfect sheared top that many an impatient pirate. Privateer, and or“tavern guzzler” would expertly clip the top off the bottle to save the time of having to uncork it. This again adds to the artifact bottle value. The mallet bottle shows sea-debris having been partially cleaned. A C.O.A. signed by Sir Robert F. Marx world-renowned Underwater Archaeologist and author having been knighted by England. Spain, and Portugal. Lastly. Artifacts from Port Royal, Jamaica are ultra-rare- they are not just ordinary relics from this period of time. Here is a nice vintage or maybe antique woven French tapestry. It has a taven or kitchen type scene with a butchering chickens. Singing, drinking wine, and 2 dogs in front of a hearth. It measures about 44 1/2" x 25" not counting the fringe edge on the sides. Overall it looks to be in very good condition, colors look good. It does have some cigarette smoke odor. Vintage Kentucky Tavern advertising water jug by Wade Regicor of London. England in very good condition, circa 1950's. Unique. Streamlined design with inverted handle. I haven't found many others with this particular shape. Super nice example of gently used. Older barware, with no chips, nicks, cracks, hairlines or stains. Pitcher does have crazing. And mild edge wear at the base, as expected in an older serving item. Also, the bottom of the pitcher has a small splotch of red which would have occurred during manufacturing when the transfer backstamp was applied. Super clean inside and out! This is a Silverplate Souvenir Spoon marked Tirol Austria. With a Tavern Scene in the bowl. It has the saint spoon style of full fancy art throughout the spoon. It is 4 1/2" long and the condition is good with some sign of wear from use, has a fair amount of tarnish but is of a collector quality. Vintage Arts and Crafts / Mission style folding top Tavern Table
Arts and Craft Tip Top Tavern Table is in great condition. Original finish, original cover on seat and top. Table fabric has a few blemishes visiable in photos. seat in very good condition. The underside of the tabletop viewed when in chair position has a fantastic carved hunt scene, zoom on this! Very nice minimal scroll work under table and bottom of legs, legs and frame appear pinned and bent oak hoop around table top is screwed with old standard. Table top measures 40" dia. height with back up is 56" table position is 30" I would call the fabric a heavy oil cloth. If you have any questions please email.
