This item is in good-used condition with an awesome patina. It was definately used alot. As evidenced by the various dings, knicks, etc. that are on it- is gives it an awesome vintage look. 18th Century Antique Worn Pine Trestle Base Tavern Dining Table Composed of 18th Century Elements(chairs are not included) Item# 120012FYK13 This is an incredibly charming 18th Century Antique Tavern Table. A fully functional and absolutely gorgeous antique dining table for today's decorative taste. It is purely a decorative work. Not of a quality or originality required for collector tastes, the table overall being composed using 18th Century elements to create a highly functional and beautiful worn table. The top is large and ovoid in shape, being a full 72" in length to comfortably and easily sit six people without difficulty, crafted of large and thick deeply patinated pine planks. The underside of the top has dovetailed rabbet cuts, into which the rails insert to rest on either side of the trestle base. Drilled holes from either ... moreside of the table rails line up perfectly with the holes in the table base, allowing wooden pins to be inserted to lock the table top securely to the base(only three pins are available- the fourth is missing) This makes the table a very convenient and easily moved part of your decor- appearing to be very heavy, it is actually very manageable with the top removed. A huge dovetailed drawer of pine construction slides easily in and out of the table. An original hand forged iron ring hardware handle on the front. The drawer is heavily chamfered along the sides to rabbet into the sides. It slides over runners that are nailed to the interior using rosehead dovetails. The table rests over incredible baluster-and-ring turned columns, these crafted of incredibly thick posts of pine, stretched with a square base of tenon-mortise construction. This is a simply gorgeous table for anyone passionate about that nostalgic and warm Colonial American style of furniture. The roughness only elevated by the exaggerated and unusual turned columns, the deep and glowing patina oxidized and well preserved. Four glittered red Christmas tree candles. Made by Tavern Socony in the 1940s. They're 3" to 3-1/4 inches tall and are dusted with gold mica-type glitter. Three have never been lit- I'm not sure about the fourth candle as it has a shorter wick that may have been clipped. If it was lit though, it was not allowed to burn down at all. The original cardboard bases are present on all four and the candles are in excellent vintage condition. See my other listings for hundreds of antique and vintage Christmas items. This auction is for a wooden wall hanging for a bar. It is carved out of wood with a big Elk. It says. Elk Mountain Amber Ale. The letters are green. It is 23” square x 2.25” thick. On the back is a paper that says. Introducing Elk Mountain Amber Ale. Down at the bottom is 1994 Anheuser Busch. It has a write up about how it is made. There is also a sticker that says. Designed and produced by the Niven Marketing Group with a phone number. It is in good shape. According to eBay policy payment should be made through Pay Pal. For a month.
