Like a smartphone does. Most seem to have resistive(dull) touchscreens. This one is shiny! The latest. Credit card reader on the side. I found these online for $3200! Save lots by buying on ebay. This has a missing plastic cover on the right. I don't know what the exact hardware or software configuration of this unit is. The data I found online said there could be a couple of different CPUs and memory amounts, there is likely a HDD but I don't know the size. The data I found said it was 80 GB but I can't be sure. After bootup it complained it could not connect to it's DHCP and would not continue. I don't have it plugged into the network. ... moreIt sure looks like it works just fine. I watched it boot. I am surprised that this is made in the good old US of A. At least that is what it says on the manufacturer tag on the back of the machine. This is a touch screen pos. Point of sale machine. As best I can tell by the specs it is about an 80 gb hard drive with a half gig of ram. It is a pentium processor, 2.79 or 2.8 gh. Windows XP, SP2 version 2002. Model M6050-01 SN: 1429362. Some of the programs I see loaded are MS SQL Server. MS SQL Server. Ultra VNC Touch Ware. On the underside of the pc are some bar codes with numbers above them. I have taken a picture of them but will list a few of them as well. It starts with features then followed by the numbers and bar codes. F6104, F6202, F6313, F6400, F6710, F6661, unit Rev C. SS3010. Input: 100-240vac, 2a,60-50Hz. It works great and seems like it would be good for a small business. I tried to ... moretake a picture of all the ports but do not think it came out well so I will try to describe them. Looks like two either net ports. 10101-1 and 10101-2. 10101-3. One called MSR. CD1 and CD2. KVS. Looks like about 4 usb ports. There is one that on the top of it is 100MB and TXRX. One last one that is a bigger one that I think might be for a printer but can't be for sure. On the back of the plate that covers the ports is another bar code with the following above the bar code. 001868902 CDR RDR(F6313) then in what looks like penned in a black magic marker 10/05.
