This blender is not only beautiful(it's like a work of art) But it works like a charm as well. I've looked it over and tested it on all speeds. It has a little wear(just some normal marks- see pics) It worked fine and the spigot worked as well. The only thing I noticed was that the small(rubber? seal around the top had a few cracks from age. I don't know if this is how it should work but when I first turned it on the speed seemed a little slower but after a few seconds it really started mixing and retained full speed for the duration- thought I would mention it. This mini vitamix is awesome. It does everything the standard size does but is ideal for a small kitchen or the frequent travelers. I've used it for about a month and I like it but it's impractical for me because I have the 7500 already(which is pictured with the S30 for size comparison only.7500 IS NOT INCLUDED) The S30 is very quiet and efficient. It includes the 40 oz jar with tamper and the travel sized blending cup for taking your drinks to go. I do not have the recipe book for this but there are plenty of vitamix recipes available online at vitamix.com and elsewhere. The warranty is still five years minus about a month and hasn't been registered so you can register in your name. This Commercial Vita Mix is in excellent condition. No digs or nicks. This unit runs EXCELLENT, 3 speeds forward and one reverse. The top dome comes with a refurbish kit that includes three gaskets and new clips. The original manual is with it. It has the surface pad to set it on and a new Tamper wooden spoon. The manual has great recipes and there are two chrome blades that the original owner claims went with it but I cannot see how they were used. The only flaw for this machine is the ACTION DOME Sticker is missing. Not essential for operation. This is a nice USED unit in great operating condition. The spigot was tested and does not leak, works great. Nice used unit but nice enough to set out. Many parts are still available on-line for this unit and should provide years of use.
