We have for your viewing and bidding pleasure an antique sausage. Lard and fruit press. On one side at the top in embossing it has SIMMONS HDWE. CO. INC. ST. LOUIS. U.S.A. This is a company that made Keen Kutter Products. On the other side in the same area it has PATENTED SEPT. 14. 1897. The item is in good useable condition. It has been treated with PAM cooking oil as a preservative. The press comes with both plates, the small and large. The small plate is used when pressing fruit. The main barrel body has the lift out screen and also the bottom cast iron vented hole plate. The large plate is for pressing sausage or lard. When you crank the hand operated handle the gear mechanism presses the plate down into the barrel or when you reverse the handle cranking it brings the plate up to the top. There is a lever to unlatch the bottom part on ... morethe right side for access into the barrel. There is a metal tube which attaches to the bottom part of the press for use in stuffing a sausage tube. This tube has a small ½” circular dent. The press is in good condition with some of the original gold pin stripping. There are 2 old repairs done in brass rod welding which is the proper way to repair cast iron. We have photoed those areas. There are 4 legs that could be screwed down to a board or table top if so desired. With everything turned down into the main body it stands 17 ¾” high by 9 ½” wide not counting the handle. It weighs 31 ½ lbs. and is a 4 quart size. Vintage/Antique Hale’s Genuine Russell & Erwin Heavy Cast Iron Sausage Stuffer
You are bidding on one lot of one seemingly very old sausage stuffer or maybe grinder. There are two tags on the top. One says Hale’s Genuine with a logo underneath. And the other says Made By Russell& Erwin New Britain, Conn. USA. This is not a particularly large machine, measuring about 8” long not including the handle and spout, about 5.5” across, and about 4” high, but it is incredibly heavy for its size, due in part to the cast iron body and very large steel jaws inside. It has four feet to mount to the workspace, a long detachable handle, a closing clasp, and a spout for your sausage casing. I have not made sausage with this but the handle and grinding wheels turn freely. And it opens and closes fine. OF NOTE is that it has a serious coating of either decades old animal fat. Or grease, or combination, or something similar and is ... morevery dirty/grimy. The silver lining is that this coating has kept it pretty much rust free but it needs a solvent or similar. I was able to get some of it off by scrubbing with dishwashing liquid, but it needs something stronger I think. The handle will be removed for shipping. I have up for sale wonderful antique patent dated 1897 National Specialty Mfg Co 4 quart Cast Iron Sausage stuffer/ wine press. It comes with both the small and large press plates. The strainer plate and basket, spout horn and holder. There is one additional part that I have not seen before, its some sort of fastening device but I am not sure how it was intended to be used. Firstly the stuffer is in Outstanding Original Condition! There are no damages: no breaks. No cracks, no repaints, the stencil and paint is original and in great shape, the only wear to the paint to speak of is located on the lower front of the tub near and around the tub's hole. The stuffer cranks easily and smoothly as well. You may need to clean the interior of the tub prior to use. This is a very easy stuffer to clean because the tub removes so easily. Much easier ... morethan an Enterprise. I am not sure what the function of the latch has, it does not hold anything from moving so I do not understand what its intended usefulness is. I have an up close view shown in one of my pics. The stuffer stands approx 17" tall with the screw all the way down. It weighs well over 30 lbs. I will package with great care. Single cylinder grinding models and dates back to the 1800's. It has four legs to mount to any surface, and a clasp to release the top from the bottom. Condition: In very good. Properly working vintage condition. The wooden part of handle has some wear and a crack and still functions well, but if needed could easily be replaced. Does have some light surface rusting but that is always remedied well with steel wool. The inside is free from rust, but does have some dirt and needs to be cleaned. In good vintage condition. Made of tin. And a wood plunger. The handle has the original paint on it, a greyish blue color. It looks in workable condition, but I did not test it. Simple design, put sausage in it and push it out with the plunger. It does have some miner surface rust on it, it will need a good cleaning before using. It is easy to take apart to clean. You are bidding on an Antique Enterprise#31 6 Quart Sausage Stuffer Lard/Fruit Duck Press. I completely broke this down and gave it an electrolysis cleaning and gave it a light seasoning as you would a cast iron skillet. This is a#6 press which is a little more rare because all you see is 4's and 8's. There are no breaks. Cracks or repairs done to this press. This is usable or for someone's collection. It also comes with all the parts as seen in the pictures which is not to often that they all stay together. The inside of the bucket is still in good condition you can still see the milling marks from when they milled it back when it was made. ANTIQUE Cast Iron Landers Frary Clark 8Qt SAUSAGE STUFFER lard wine cider press
I have up for sale wonderful antique circa early 1900s Landers. Frary, Clark UNIVERSAL 8 Quart Sausage Stuffer/ wine, fruit, lard,cider,press. It comes complete with all the accessories: both the large and small press plates, strainer basket and bottom plate, horn spout and lock nut,etc. This is a Top of the Line Outfit, none nicer than this model. Its all original and in just superb shape. The small plate is approx 7-7/8" and the large plate approx 8-1/8" the small one fits inside the basket, obviously the larger one does not. The stuffer is in Outstanding Original Condition! There are no damages: no breaks. No cracks, no repairs, etc-the paint appears to be original and is in great shape. There is some normal minor light wear as one would expect but overall its a dandy. The stuffer cranks easily and smoothly. This is a very easy ... morestuffer to clean because the tub removes so easily. All you have to do is unlock the side latch and spin it out. I would advise screwing the feet down on a nice solid wood board, to make the base less tippy. This is a big and heavy piece. It weighs approx 51 as you see it. I will package with great care. It will be double boxed and sent fully insured- a Signature will be required to receive. Early Enterprise #5 2 Quart Sausage Stuffer Fruit/Lard Press
You are bidding on a Early Enterprise#5 2 Quart Sausage Stuffer Fruit/Lard Press. This is a rare early version with ratchet type screw. Enterprise Mfg. Co. Cast Iron. This type of ratchet screw is very hard to find and it is the smallest of the Enterprise presses. It is approximately 14" tall with the ratchet screwed down to it's lowest point. I broke this down and gave it an electrolysis cleaning and it is in very good shape with no cracks or breaks or repairs anywhere. I gave it a light seasoning inside the bucket as you would a cast iron skillet. This piece is ready for use or make a nice conversation piece. This may be broke down for shipping. You are viewing a 1907 Enterprise Fruit Wine Jelly Press(Sausage Stuffer) I put sausage stuffer in quotations cause some people use this as a stuffer? I totally broke this down and gave it a electolysis cleaning and gave the bowl and auger a seasoning as you would a cast iron skillet which makes it ready for use. This piece was galvanized after the casting was done by the manufacturer. There are no breaks or cracks on this piece but the one original wing nut was broke and the mounting nut was broke but is still operatable but I will be putting new ones in when it is shipped. This will be broke down for shipping. The last picture added is with the original thumb bolt I detailed it as you can see by the pics. This would make a nice addition to a collection or use. Up for auction is an 8 quart cast iron antique Enterprise sausage stuffer/ fruit press. It has 2 patent dates of 1876 and 1883. There is nothing broken. Chipped, cracked or repaired. The crank operates smoothly from top to bottom. It comes as shown in the pics with no other attachments or parts. Any attachment you might need can be found on eBay. The entire press was wire brushed and coated with vegetable shortening to preserve and protect the look. The wood handle is crack free. A nice clean cast iron antique stuffer for your collection. Untitled Document Description. Up for auction is an antique Enterprise Mfg. Company. No. 31, 6 quart, sausage stuffer, lard/fruit press. Made in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This beauty is totally original and complete with the perforated basket, 3 press plates, union and nipple. Has most of the original paint and some very minor surface rust. This press has the LUTHE HARDWARE COMPANY logo on the side. They were from Des Moines. Has been oiled, could use a little cleaning. Measures approx. 24 inches tall, 15 inches wide by 15 inches deep when completely assembled. Weighs in approx 40-45 pounds unboxed. No major damages to declare.
