I was not able to find any other units like this one on the internet. It is very heavy and made in the U.S.A. It is in perfect running condition and all the parts are in excellent. Clean condition for a vintage item. The previous owner had it for many years and has kept it properly oiled. There is a place on the top to add oil. There is an on/off switch on the back. Large Silver Plate Meat Platter (Taber & Tibbits) 1930's -- Beautiful Design
This is a large(18" long by 12 1/2"wide and 1 1/2" high) silver plate serving platter. Beautiful and elegant tree pattern with au jus well. Manufacturer is Taber and Tibbits(their mark on back) It was previously owned by one woman who recalls purchasing it in 1940. The Taber and Tibbits. Inc. silversmiths were in business from 1919 until 1941 in Wallingford. CT. They produced numerous silver plate pieces including various serving pieces such as serving plates and platters. Pitchers and ice buckets. Much of the silver plate produced by Taber and Tibbits was electroplated nickel silver which is an alloy produced from zinc nickel and brass. Seller will package this beautiful item in a well-protected box for shipping to your door.

There's a trident shape depressed area to carry the juices away from the meat to a reservoir on one side. Glasbake USA 380 is embossed on the bottom.

Antique Country French Cutting Board with animal prints--meat cuts---14913
This is quite an unusual piece and very interesting. A very heavy and thick cutting board with old knife marks. Etc. One side now has three animal diagrams(cow, hog, sheep) showing the various cuts of meat from the animal. All three are in French. Overall size of the piece is 20 x 15 1/4 x 2 1/4 inches. Very good condition(knife marks) with a little separation of the paper in a couple places. Board has a handle on one end and would be ideal to hang on your kitchen wall or will sit standing up by itself. A little hard to date but late 19th or early 20th century I would say.
