I wanted to see how brilliant the sign would be with LED lights. It turned out fantastic. I used a new 12 volt plug and a new on/off switch which I installed to the lights. Because the sign has a sort of motion effect when you walk by the sign the LED's enhanced the effect. Different parts of the sign reflect at different angles. If you move your mouse back and forth across the first two photos you can get an idea of what the motion looks like. Its really cool. On the wall and lit the sign looks perfect. The sign has two holes on the back that you can use to hang it. Measures 41x12x5. Very light weight with almost no energy consumption. LEDs have a general life ... moreexpectancy of 50 000 hrs. If you use your lights for 10 hours a day. This should be 13.7 yrs.You can slightly see the LED strips through the sign but it's actually a lot less noticable than the big fluorescent bulb was. A nice side benefit. Condition Details: Used Condition. Plastic shows normal surface ware that would be expected. There is a small tiny section of plastic by the top center screw that appears to be missing. You can see it from any of the open face photos. Its possible its supposed to not be there. Not noticeable at all. I also bought all new silver screws to make the front of the sign look clean and nice. They do look good. Once lit up it looks perfect.
