We also plugged everything in and they all worked. Only thing is we are missing one element(bulb) We found one web site where they sell single elements. It is INFRATECH-USA.COM. The story of this unit is it was bought in 1999 and he paid 1800.00 for it. In 2000 the owner was in a accident which made him unable to work in the auto body business. So he placed the unit in storage. So it was not use very much. So we have cleaned it will and made sure it worked. Just one element broken. So for the body shop person who is trying to open a shop. Or the shop owner who is trying to save money on electric bill, this drying unit would be a great deal. This kind of drying offers many benefits. Faster heat transfer. Spot heating. This is an old 10 3/4" tall GE Model 50 Infra-Red lamp. 115V. AC-DC 200 watt. It does work, but it doesn't get overly heated. Operates on coils and not a bulb, and is said to be for chest colds and sore muscles. The unit is in its' original box and was shipped to a drug store in Wisconsin. It has been used, and the plug and cord are worn. Last photo shows it working. The entire unit needs a cleaning, and the box is soiled and worn. Available for purchase is a vintage Art Deco style Mastercraft Combination Model Therapeutic Infra-Red(heat) Lamp No. 62 with original tag. The"combination" refers to the fact that the wooden shaft can be lifted off the heavy base and the lamp used as a hand held model. It's in excellent. Working condition, although there is a smidge of surface rust on one bit of the bulb guard, the on/off switch is missing a tiny part, and the plug end of the 5'10" cord has a bit of damage to the wire covering— see photos in all cases. Awesome Industrial style heat lamp. Made in the 1940s and still in working condition. Stamped center disk says: METAL WARE CORP/ 105-120 VOLTS/ EMPIRE/ 6 AMPS/ TWO RIVERS. WIS. Coils turn red and get hot almost immediately upon plugging in. Plug itself has a piece of plastic missing. Still can plug in but we recommend to use with care, or replace the plug as part of the metal plug itself is indeed exposed. Measures 16 inches high. Disk is 12 inches diameter, base is 7.5 inches diameter. Metal of dish itself is copper. Base is a metal alloy painted in a copper colored wash. The slatted paper lens that simulates the motion, has one slight tear and a few small light indents which do not hinder the look of the lamp in any way. The colors are vibrant on the spinner graphics, thus making the look and details at night very distinct as you may see on the pics. The twist ON/OFF switch at the base works perfectly. The clear outer lens casing with theunder water vegetation is very clean overall with a few light scratches located at the base insert. The base is sturdy and the black ball feet are tight and solid. This unit is sold AS IS and as best described.one very gorgeous vintage tropical fish lamp and hard to find. PLEASE do not use the auto ship rates via eBay.
