Up for bid is a Griswold#7 long griddle. The cooking surface of the griddle is 16" x 8" Overall dimensions are 18 3/4" x 7 3/4" This is a very nice little griddle that sits flat with no warp or wobble. There is one minor casting flaw on the surface of the griddle about the size of a number 2 pencil eraser. I am a proud member of the Wagner and Griswold Society(WAGS) and restore my iron using only safe and generally acceptable practices for cleaning/seasoning vintage cast iron. No drill brushes. Surface grinders, or sand/media blasting equipment is ever used in my restorations. This piece was completely stripped. Cleaned thoroughly, and the re-seasoned three times. It will arrive at your door ready for use! All my iron is carefully packed in custom sized boxes to ensure that it arrives to you in the same condition it left ... moreme. 11 INCH SQUARE ENAMELED CAST IRON SKILLET/GRIL L This 11 Inch Square Blue Enameled Cast Iron Skillet/Grill has no markings as to it's maker. It could be an unmarked piece of Le Creuset cookware. Or I have seen similar cookware from World Market. This skillet/frying pan is in EXCELLENT pre-owned condition(please see pictures and decide for yourself) The inside of the skillet looks as if may have been used 1 or 2 times. The blue enameling on the outside of the pan shows no scratches/wear. The only flaw that I see is there is a very small chip to the enamel on the underside of the handle on the inside part of the loop. This skillet has flared sides. Thus offering extra cooking room for steaks, fish, burgers, or other food that benefits from stovetop grilling to give foods that ultimate caramelized flavor. The ribs in the grill's bottom ... morenot only provide sear marks, but also helps in elevating foods to help separate fat to help with low-calorie cooking. There is a variable temp adjustment lever on the side to adjust the waffle iron cooking temp from light to dark. There is a light diffusor on top that glows as the waffle iron rises to temp. When the glow goes out. It has reached the desired cooking temp. The unit will then cycle on and off to maintain that temp. The plates have a no stick type of covering on them from that era. The plates are 9 x 9. I did not clean the griddle plates so as not to damage the no stick surface. I am selling this one because I just purchased a food truck and have no need for this cart any longer. It has always passed inspections with a scrupulous health department. VINTAGE WEST BEND LEKTRO MAID ELECTRIC SKILLET You are bidding on a Vintage West Bend Lektro Maid Electric Skillet. Serving Tray, Lid and Original Controller. The skillet has been tested and it works great. As you can see in the pictures, the gem coat anodized cooking surface does not show much wear at all which is remarkable for its age(no scratches or utensil marks) The bottom of the skillet also shows only minor wear(my guess is that it was used once or twice at most and has pretty much sat in storage for decades) The lid shows some light wear(including a small dent; some of the wear is probably from storage) The controller looks like new and is original to the skillet. The original serving tray shows minimal wear.
