I received this mixer and was told it was not working. I removed the motor and took it to electric motor repair shop for testing to apply proper voltage. The motor tested good- smooth and quiet. However there was no load(as in when mixing heavy dough) so I cannot guarantee that it works properly. All the parts are there except for the stainless steel top. This is a nice commercial 30qt Hobart D-300 Mixer. The motor sounds to run smooth as silk but the gear box appears to need some attention. The speed control easily switches between speeds 1& 3 but does not appear to affect the speed at all. And if you manually turn the mixer shaft a bit you can get it to slip into the speed 2 position but it still does not appear to affect the speed. Basically as it is. the mixer currently seems to work really well in One(1) Speed. And what speed that actually is. I'm not sure. Comes with Dough Hook and Whisk.
