Sounds kind of dangerous. Like throwing a toaster into the tub while its plugged in, but that's what we have- a bath immersion heater that plugs into a wall outlet. Vintage item was made in Chicago by Autonator Co. Inc at 6 East Lake Street, Chicago 5 ILL. Note the old city postal code from the box. Still has instruction tag on the cord but the cord is badly deteriorated, brittle and cracking. There is no way I would have ever tested it anyway, though. There is a warning regarding"Dangerous electrical shock" No Duh. Item appears to have been used, with some scale residue from hard water on the shell. Heater section is about 5inches across. I would estimate this is from the 1940's or earlier. Ships at 2 pounds.

I am offering this used Belshaw donut fryer. Its a 18"x26" electric fryer requiring 3 phase power. This is in working condition. I personally tested all functions of the fryer last week in my shop. Elements heat up quickly as they should, on/off switch functions correctly, and most importantly the thermostat is working correctly. The lid does not have the support bar on the top, you will need to fabricate one or purchase one. This simply holds the lid open during donut removal,but the fryer can be used as it is. The drain knob functions correctly allowing the oil to be drained from below. As you can see, no filter is included. I do not have a screen for the unit, but I am including the screen lifter.
