Vintage Antique RC Soda Pop Beer Dispenser Machine Cooler Refrigerator
Up for auction is a vintage pop machine. This machine would be awesome for a man-cave to dispense cold beer! This pop machine dispenses cans of pop or beer when coins are inserted. I'm not sure exactly what year the machine was manufactured. But from it's appearance I'm guessing it was somewhere in the'70's. The machine functions perfectly. The refrigerator part of the machine works perfectly. Pop gets really cold! The coin changer also works; it was originally intended to take nickels, dimes, and quarters, but it currently only takes quarters. The amount of money that is required to dispense pop is configurable, it is currently configured to take 2 quarters(50 cents) per can of pop. The machine has 5(five) different pop columns. Each pop column can be loaded with a different type of pop or beer. The dispensing buttons ... moreeach have a place for a logo to be placed that shows the type of pop or beer in the column. The condition of the external part of the machine is not perfect. And can be seen in the photos. The sides of the machine can be improved with a paint job. The front of the machine, which is currently in red primer, is intended to be covered by a graphic that shows the type of pop or beer that is in the machine. This is a great vintage piece that was made in the 50's by the Progress Refrigerator Company in Louisville. Kentucky. The cooler is made of pressed steel with a galvanized steel interior. The cooler has a white paint finish with the Progress Refrigerator Co stamped into the metal on the front. This cooler has the original bottle opener on the side at the base of the handle. The handle pulls up over the lid to lock it into place and pushes down to the side so you can open the cooler.
