Here we have a Scotsman CME-1202AE commercial ice machine. In working order. I got it at the clearing auction of a convention center/arena in Omaha. This is an air cooled machine, so even though I have no water supply near my 240v outlet, I was able to test it by manually filling the water sump from a bucket, and it does indeed work. All the ice columns released well before the thaw cycle was over, so I think the plating is fine. I included a closeup picture. The solenoid also correctly detects obstruction and shuts down the machine after the thaw cycle, and also starts up again if you remove the obstruction. The one thing I could not test was the water inlet solenoid(since I was not getting the water through that line) So, it's possible the solenoid could be non-functional, but it's not an expensive part. I did notice the water inlet ... moreopening on the back, where you would connect the supply line, was pretty heavily mineralized, so you might also want to do a good cleanout of the water supply line. I have three other machines as well. One of which also works, the other two seem to do everything but cool. I think that either the fan control sensors are bad, or the refrigerant pressure is low. If you're interested in those machines as well, let me know, we can make a good package deal. I have a water cooled Hoshizaki machine as well(listed separately) And beyond that. I also have five Follett 1300 lb ice bins, so let me know if you're also needing a bin. For your bidding pleasure. I just picked up this Scotsman Ice machine and Bin. It appears to be functional. I bought it from a bar that had closed down and the owner said it worked when they closed. About 3 years ago and had been sitting the whole time. It is dirty. Model# of the icemaker is CME506RS-1F and the bin is BH8005-CIt does appear to have all the parts. It appears to be water cooled(see bottom pic) The bin has no cracks or holes. The gaskets could use changing( see pic) I plugged it in and the lights on the inside came on and it made mechanical refrigeration sounding noises and seemed to fire up fine. For sale is this Scotsman ice and water machine for making and dispensing soft chewable nugget ice. A favorite for food service laboratories and medical facilities due to it's touch less design. It came from an auction house with 4 others. They came from a medical center and I was told they were operating when removed But I can't say for sure. A friend who is an a c technician told it is water cooled and a copper line was cut and it needs to be repaired and recharged. You can see the cut line which is right at what I believe to be a low pressure sensor. I plugged it in and nothing happened but I am pretty sure that's because of the low pressure sensor. I will deliver this unit to you anywhere along I-75 from Ft Myers. Florida to Chattanooga, Tennessee around January 7th or 8th. If you want me to deliver it more than 10 miles from the interstate, I can still do that, but you will need to pay me a little extra for my extra time and gas. You see that this ice machine is mounted to a matching stainless steel stand. However, I can remove this stand for you if you don't need it. If you look up the model number on this unit you will see that it is water cooled. However, 95% of people do not want water cooled, so this unit has been converted to a standard air cooled version which will not waste a bunch of water unecessarily. Everything works great as should. Dispenses ice without touching anything; just hold a glass up under the shoot and ice will pour down into it until you remove it.
