Hires Root Beer Reach In Electric Cooler RARE Vintage
This vintage reach in cooler has a Hires Root Beer design. It still WORKS. It was in a building we bought. And some of the guys plugged it in and used it to keep their drinks cold while they cleaned out part of the building. I can tell these coolers are rare because I haven't been able to find one sold previously online on any website that seems to deal in such things. In addition to the patina of age. This cooler is just plain DIRTY. I haven't even wiped it off with a damp cloth. It was in the garage portion of an old auto dealership, so this is greasy, grimy, black dirt. Please see photos. Undercounter reach in beer cooler
I bought this with a clear out deal in a closed restaurant. I wanted other items and what I wanted was conducive on taking this in a bundle deal because the owner was having a hard time moving it. I didn't have my heart set on it because of the color/ appearance of it. My plan was to refinish it and maybe line the interior(wood) with something to make it more efficient. It is a 3 phase and will need to have the pump reattached(new hoses. Ect, new power supply might not be a bad idea) could be really nice when refinished i bet! local pick up.
