I found this old swordfish bill at an estate sale last summer. It was an interesting estate in that the builder of the house used old ship parts in it's construction. This old yankee family never through away a thing for over 200 years and it was a massive collection of everything imaginable. The bill has been polished to as smooth as silk and is ready for scrimshaw or sword making. The patina certainly shows it's age and has a more yellow tone than the photos suggest. Medical Amputation saw great display piece
Vintage Amputation Saw This is a very solid amputation saw. Great for those real tall guys that just don't fit in the coffin. The blade has surface rust which I believe will polish right off. I never clean or polish antique items so it's up to you. It is almost a foot long. Great for hanging in the office. I' will be listing about 1000 items over the next few months so if you are into antique medical and medicines check back often. If there is a particular piece or medicine you are looking for.
