NICE Antique Oak General Store Countertop Display Case Cabinet Bakery Wakarusa
This wonderful old display cabinet is said to have come from the bakery in Wakarusa Indiana years ago. It is oak. And looks to have its original finish and hardware. I am thinking it dates from about 1890. It stands 37 inches tall, and the base measures 26 x 26 with the slightly narrower body measuring 23 x 23. The two slat shelves inside measure 21 x 21 each. The vintage counter top display case is in very nice condition and ready to go to work as is. It has held some sort of potpourri in its more recent past and has a mild"Fruity" scent inside. It is not obnoxious, I just mention it in case you are sensitive to such things. This is a great old store display cabinet and you will enjoy it for many years! THIS IS A LOCAL PICKUP ONLY!

This Longaberger Basket is dated 1994 on the bottom. It measures 14" x 7" x 4" Looking on eBay. It appears to be a bakery basket. No handles. No liner. No protector. I am not a collector. Please keep that in mind as I describe the condition. Judge for yourself. I'm happy to attach more pictures. If asked. I don't see any marks or scratches. I only spotted 2 flaws. Both. On the back. At the bottom, of the back, below nail 5(left to right) there's a split. It doesn't appear to be from misuse. It looks original to the weave. It's shown in the last picture. Next, also on the back, on the top rim, by nail#1, there is a 1/2" split around the nail. It looks like the nail was tighter than the rest. I don't think I have a picture of that one. I've seen these baskets in much worse shape. It looks unused ... moreto me. I purchased from an estate sale of a basket sales rep. I've disclosed as"used" because I don't know for sure.
