The house appears to be in excellent condition, but please use the pictures to determine if it is up to the standards of your collection. It rolls easily. The oak has been cleaned and two coats of oil applied. It is clean and could be used in your kitchen to hold pots/pans or in your bedroom to hold shoes or whatever your imagination can come up with. It measures about 28" wide, 15" deep, and 54" high. It's not a heavy item and can be lifted and moved about easily. Old Stoneware Beater Jar Schlegel Bakery West Bend WI Crock Red Wing McCoy WOW
This is a pretty nice original and very hard to find stoneware beater jar advertising Schlegel's Bakery in West Bend. Wisconsin. I believe it was made by Red Wing but you stoneware experts will know for sure. It stands about 4 3/4 inches tall and is about 4 3/4 inches in diameter at it's widest. It is in good condition for it's age with some hairline cracks running down from the top about 1-1 1/4 inches. They are very solid and only two of them show on the outside. It still displays very nicely and has great original character! It will likely be a long time before another one turns up and I doubt it will be this nice. Vtg 1930s 1940s Large Lot of 100+ Advertising Bakery Pencils- Baking/Detroit Description& Condition Very Large Lot of 1930s-1940s Advertising Lead Pencils for Businesses in The Midwest. Many are from Detroit. I counted 99 pencils and four pens, could be off by a couple. Many show a five digit phone number which dates them to the 1930s-mid 1940s, some are a little later like 1950- 1960s. Some pencils have been sharpened, many have not been. Many of the business are from baking or flour companies, but they are mostly food-baking related. A very small number of them are not advertising related but still of the period. Erases show some darkening and some of the lead tips that have broken but that's the extent of the wear. Overall in presentable shape for age. Measures 10 inches tall to the top of the lid(about 6 ¼ inches tall to the top of the jar) 6 ¼ inches long and 4 ½ inches wide. There is some wear to the paint on the door and other areas. A few chips: one on the base bottom and one on the bottom of the lid as examples. Appears that there was a“U” shape piece broken off that has been glued back into place. Vintage Antique Brickers Bakery Bread carrier trug advertising lettering
It's dirty. It's old, it's cool. This is an old bread carrier, Brickers bread, I believe out of Pennsylvania. The trug measures 22 1/2 in. long, 13 in. to top of handle and 13 1/2 in. across the middle. It is still very sound and sturdy. The material of body is some type of composite material, very rigid. I thought handle was wood, but I don't think so now. I have vacuumed it, and will again, but I don't want to do anything else that may mess it up. 2 Vintage Pie Tins. New England Bakery, Table Talk Pies Famous Table Talk pies used to be a product you could only get in New England. But they are now available coast to coast. These two pie tins are from two different decades, roughly the 30's and the 50's. The older one has the 10 ¢ deposit on it. Which meant that if you returned the empty pie plate you would get a dime back from the store. This program was later ended, so the later tins no longer carried the message. Both have some rust and tarnish and the older one has a discoloration right in the center from a flea market price sticker that was on it. These are still in good enough condition for use if you take a wire brush to the rust, but they also look amazing on a shelf or as a wall hanging in a bakery or restaurant, or your own kitchen. 400 used bakery sheet pan/trays. Condition varies from tray to tray. We're a dog treat manufacturer but we use only human-quality ingredients.
