Original Vintage American Bakeries Bakery Company 1965 Serving Tray
I found this item about 5 years ago at my late father in law's shop in Hickory. North Carolina. He had multiple trays, but this was the only one which had the company name and date clearly printed on it: PROPERTY OF AMERICAN BAKERIES COMPANY JAN'65" Tray measures about 23" x 20" x 1" and weighs 3 lbs 12 oz. At first I thought it was made with some type of 1960's plastic. But when a magnet stuck to it, I realized it was metal with what looks like fiberglass? covering. Condition is definitely not perfect.
