The Elbow Inn was the one time home of the Munger Moss Sandwich Shop which moved to Lebanon in 1946 after the highway was realigned through the Hooker Cut. It closed a few years back. The historic Elbow Inn dates back to the 1930s when it was the Munger Moss Sandwich Shop. Built by Nelle& Emmett Moss. The business was moved to Lebanon in 1946 when old Route 66 was realigned. This was once the deepest rock cut in America. When Route 66 was realigned in the 1940s through here it bypassed Devil's Elbow. Hello. This is a rare aluminum old pre war handle bar bicycle stem.I believe this a Torrington stem or a wald stem I couldnt find a manufacturing mark? This stem has some wear from use The haddle bar tightning bolt has a some what stripped wrench head.But it works with plyers, Im also not sure if the stem wedge is correct. The aluminum looks good with some light scratches from use. This looks good for a good rider. This should still be functional on a bike to the best of my knowledge.I believe these where used on Columbia Elgin Colson Murray Huffman& some other models But respectfully Im not certain? Antique Pry Bar Shingle Roofing Nail Removal Tool "THE ____LERKIS FRIEND"
We have absolutely no idea as to the original purpose of this old tool. Which measures 15 inches long, and has a very solid old oak handle, with some serious signs of heavy-duty usage.
