The speaker clicked to register detections, the light flashed and the meter responded, as the first picture shows. The GM tube in the included probe is marker"Lionel 112 6703-1" we have not been able to find specs for that tube. But are guessing either Beta/ Gamma or Alpha/ Beta/ Gamma, based on responsiveness to the check source. The external scope and meter outputs were not tested and are not guaranteed and. As with any vintage instrument, calibration is not guaranteed. It is is excellent vintage condition. With some scuffs, scratches, tape residue etc. As with any vintage vacuum tube equipment, you will want to replace capacitors, out of tolerance resistors etc if planning on extended use. This model rarely comes up and this is the only tested and working one on ebay- don't let it get away! Nice working and good looking Vintage Stereo Boombox. It is a Mitsubishi Model TX-65. The two meter lights work great to the beats of the music and the tape decks works great on this unit. The meter lights don't beat as high on tape playing but other than that this box is sound. The antenna tip has been broken off but I pick up all the radio stations in my area with no problem. The Sekonic's needle does not move when the light changes. The needle is not frozen, it moves back& forth normally when the meter is moved around, I do not know how to operate these meters properly so it could be a mistake on my part. I found the meters in the cases shown. But the only original case is with the Tower meter, the other 2 are not original to the meters but fit nicely. The meters do not have any cracks or chips.
