YOU ARE BIDDING ON A VERY NICE VINTAGE 1937 COLEMAN MODEL 242B ONE MANTLE LANTERN. THIS LANTERN COMES COMPLETE WITH A NEW PAIR OF MANTLES AND A COPY OF THE 242C OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS. THIS LANTERN WAS MANUFACTURED BY THE COLEMAN CO. IN WITCHITA KANSAS IN APRIL OF 1937. THE DATE ON THE LANTERN IS 7 4 WHICH MEANS IT WAS MADE IN APRIL OF 1937. MADE IN THE U.S.A. This lantern is in very good condition cosmetically and excellent condition mechanically. The only flaws I see in the lantern is a few tiny chip on the ventilator. And a couple of very small dings on the fount. See the Pictures) The Lantern is all original with the exception of the new parts mentioned below. It has the original Sunshine of the Night Green Lettered Globe, and the nickle on the fount is very nice for being 75 years old. See the Pictures) The Globe is in excellent condition ... morewith no chips or cracks. The green logo on the globe is faint but if you look hard, you can see it. This lantern has been professionally rebuilt. All parts have been totally cleaned and refurbished or replaced. The new parts include the Fuel Cap Gasket, and the Valve Assembly has been repacked with a new graphite packing. This Lantern is so nice that I did not fire it up. I pumped it up, it holds pressure and when you open the valve, air hisses through the generator. I know it will work like new. This lantern burns Coleman Fuel. This Lantern shows very little actual use. The motif is of scrollwork and a single flower! Function/Use: Used for support the top shelf of a mantle. Savaged from European chateau in Prague. Lot consists of two(2) corbels; they are the same motif. But oweing to their hand-carved production there is some variation in the shappe. One of the flowers is more open than the other. Structure/Composition: Made of hand carved hardwood with dark brown stain. Unstained side shows little grain ands is light honey colored. So it could be poplar or oak. Coleman 2 Mantle Lantern Model 220H w/Box & Papers 8-73
This Coleman 220H Lantern was made in August of 1973. It is in decent condition for a lantern that is almost 40years old. There is some rust on the burner frame and pan and also a small spot of rust on the tank where it meets the collar. The ventilator is perfect and the font is nice and free of dents. A vintage November 1963 Sears double mantle(model 476.74070) Coleman style lantern with black big top and red tank. Comes with what I think is the original case, by Smith Victor, along with mantle, replacement lighter flints for the igniter, and a vintage Coleman 0 funnel with blue filter. Everthing is in at least good condition. The case shows clear signs of wear and the leather handle is not original. The lantern does show many signs of wear with a chip here and there. The black big top has at least two chips. Please examine pictures carefully, for what you see is what you will get. Measurements: 12-inches tall x 6-inches diameter(at the base) This lantern appears to be in good condition; however. It has not been tested. The plunger appears to be functional, but I have not filled with gas or pressure tested the unit. The bottom is free of rust and is labeled SEARS ROEBUCK AND CO. MADE IN USA 12 68 The amber globe is free from chips or cracks. But does have some minor stains. It is labeled‘Coleman No 550’ The handle and interior have some oxidation. But no apparent major exterior defects. Could use some polishing to make it shine. Very similar in size and function to the Coleman 200A. The fuel fount may actually be a bit bigger than the 200A. It is not as tall, but wider. A few minor places of missing paint on the tank. And a few small spots on the vent. Still would be an awesome lantern to display or use. It does need a filler cap gasket, and takes the same size as the 200A. I pumped it up and opened the valve, and it hisses. Turned the tip cleaner on the generator, and it stops the flow of air. I put on another cap from a 200A to make sure it held pressure and it did. Comes with a Coleman globe, made in China, which is befitting for this lantern which I believe ... moreis made in Hong Kong. Steel fount, and nothing shabby about the quality. Weighs a bit more than the 200A. Please ask any questions prior to bidding, and thanks for looking. You are bidding on a good shape single mantle coleman 200A lantern. This has the coleman glass globe. The globe sits loose but i think it is suppose to be that way. This is dated 10 of 1966. This is still a bit dirty. I cleaned it up some but can use a better cleaning. The porcelain seems to be good not chipped the marks you might see are dirt it has one tiny chip on edge. Not sure if it works i did not try it but i beleive there should be no problem. The handle has some minor rust. Look at the picture and email with any questions. There are some rust spots, it needs a new pump as this one does not build pressure. Lantern has a Pyrex bubble glass that is in good condition with no chips or cracks, it has Sunshine of the Night printed on the base with the sunshine logo, sunshine logo is also on the band below the glass globe. On the bottom are numbers 6 54. So, no, it is not in perfect condition, but with a little time cleaning it, touching it up, repairing the pump, you would have a pretty good collectible lantern. The players interviewed on this CD include Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale, Roger Maris, Whitey Ford, Al Kaline, Warren Spahn, Rocky Colavito, and Frank Robinson. Folk Art Handmade Wooden "Steamboat" Mantle Clock- INCREDIBLE CRAFTSMANSHIP
Simply amazing" are the only words I have to describe this one-of-a-kind. Fantastic handmade wooden clock fashioned after an early steamboat. The plaque on the underside of the base reads"Steamboat' made by Jean& Harry Wilson, May, 1997. It is finely detailed and extremely ornate. Every piece and every window was cut by hand with a scroll saw. It must have taken weeks to complete. The ship is bilaterally symmetrical; in other words. With a bow, smokestack and a wheelhouse at each end, and the paddlewheels in the middle, it's the same coming and going. I can't tell if it had moving parts at one time(I don't think so) None of the parts move now, except of course, the clock, which is powered by one AA battery. Remarkably, all the details are intact, except for a few tiny chips on the top of the deck, near the wheelhouse, ... morein the 8th photo. This is a Vintage(1962) 15-Jewel JAEGER LeCOULTRE ATMOS PERPETUAL MOTION SWISS MANTLE CLOCK. Model 528-6, Serial#148058. The brass works are stamped"Fifteen 15 Jewels VXN Switzerland Unadjusted" The brass framework of the case is stamped"INCA 5090" the underneath of the base is stamped"Le Coultre& Cie. Metal Caliber 528-6 Swiss" and there is a matching polished brass presentation plate dated 1962 mounted on the base of the clock. The mechanism locking lever is functioning properly, as is the bubble level and its adjustment knobs. Overall, the case and works appear to be in exceptionally Fine and Clean condition, with only minor, light surface scratching to the brass case, and no scratching to the glass panels, nor are there any surfaces that are rubbed or tarnished from excessive polishing. MANTLE TABLE CLOCK GILT CUPIID FAIRY PAINTED ENAMEL SIGNED
A handsome small mantle clock or lady's working table clock considering it's small dimensions. Gilt copper and hand painted enamel with romantic figures in the 18th century style. The figural group in the top of thr clock represents a winged woman and a cupid child. Sort if fairy The Mecanism needs revision( doesn't work) The columns and the inner base is painted enamel. Otherwise the clock is gilt copper A small damage to one of the fairy wings( one rip to the metal but it isn't broken) Sculpture and clock mecanism need to be screwed more firmly to the clock structure 13x7x4.1cm Posted with
