The globe is the original red letter globe. No chips or cracks. The burner frame is clean and shows only a few small specks of rust on the bottom plate. The fount has no dents or dings and the paint is shiny and in very good condition. There are a few slightly discolored areas. But really no nicks or scratches to speak of. The Coleman decal is complete but does have cracks running through it, this is common for these later year 200 lanterns. Overall, a very nice looking green 200A. This lantern has NOT ... morebeen test fired. Both valve and tip cleaner turn freely. Lantern does hold pressure and air hisses through the generator when the valve is opened. Unfortunately I believe the check valve is stuck open as the air in the tank hisses back out through the pump hole when you let your finger off it. This lantern can be pumped up. Being offered for sale is this gorgeous Victorian Solid Tiger Oak Fireplace Mantle Surround with Full Corinthian Columns and gorgeous applied carvings.Ribbon trim and dental block moldings circa 1900. This fireplace mantle measures 78 inches in total height.66 inches in total width total depth of 12 1/2 inches, the actual mantle portion measures 60 inches wide by 11 1/4 inches deep. The fire box opening measures 36 inches in height by 41 1/2 inches wide and this piece weighs approximately 150 lbs. This beautiful antique mantle is solid and tight with no breaks or repairs we can find. The top of the mantle does show some surface wear of the finish. And there is a small chip on the very top left corner and one of the small bead carvings is missing at the center, but neither of these detracts from this over 100 year old mantle piece. This is a very nice Coleman single mantle lantern model 200A195 Dated 5-79. There is a very small scratch in the fount near the cleaning lever and a small chip on the top rim of the ventilator cap next to one of the bail hole's. There is a very small rust spot in the burner frame. The pump work's good and the fount hold's good pressure. The globe is chip and crack free with the red lettering. The box has been taped on the bottom portion. There are three mantles and the instruction booklet included. This lantern would make a great addition to your collection or your camp box. The VINTAGE COLEMAN 242 SINGLE MANTLE LANTERN shown here is in as found condition and needs a good cleaning. The base is discolored with what appears to be tobacco smoke. And the green upper portion has some white staining that cleans off. Having said that, there are very few chips in the green finish, and the filler cap appears to be the original one. The globe is not original-it's a Bernzomatic. I have not tried to use the lantern, so you may have to do some work on it. The filler cap is on tightly and I haven't tried to loosen it other than with my fingers. There is a reflector with the lantern that appears to be homemade, and the nut holding the top on is not original. Vintage Green Coleman 228F/220F Lantern Dated 3/69 Double Mantle
Vintage green Coleman double mantle lantern model 228F/220F that is dated 3/69. This lantern was in good working condition when it was last used a number of years ago. There is a tiny chip on the shade. Some light rust on the sliver colored metal piece under the glass and some green paint chipping at the base of the silver sleeve at the top of the tank. The silver sleeve is labeled 220F and the base is labeled 228F. The glass is the opriginal Coleman Pyrex part. The two mantles have been used and will probably disintegrate during shipping. You will need to replace them. The lantern is about 14" tall, the tank is 6" in diameter and the green shade is about 6 1/2" in diameter.

White Mantle Lusters (Pair)
A beautiful pair of Mantle Lusters with gold floral decorations. They are 14.5 inches high and almost 7 inches across with a bottom diameter of 6.5 inches. The cut crystal prisms measures 6 inches. Three total prisms are missing but two of those have been replaced. Several prisms have sliver chips and point flakes and/or chips typical of this type of item. One prism has a missing point. There is also some fading throughout both pieces but that's with wear and age. All in all these pieces are timeless. Coffee grinders, and other very nice antique and vintage collectibles. Be sure to have a look at our other items! This is an outstanding find of a very nice. Well preserved, working American mantle clock that was produced in"Winsted Connecticut USA" about 105 years ago and signed on the dial, movement, and on a mostly intact label underneath by the"Gilbert Clock Company, one of the best clock makers ever. According to the same label, this is the"Blackbird" model of chiming mantle clocks produced by Gilbert. It has a nice satin black finish and accented with Roman pillars on each side of the dial, fancy claw cast metal ... morefeet in front, cast metal feet in back, a cast metal lion head on each side of the case with a metal ring in his mouth, and fancy, faint etched designs on the lower front and sides of the dial. The dial has a very fancy brass bezel surrounding it and a brass hinged outer bezel as well with a glass crystal inset into it; no cracks or chips that I can see. The dial backdrop is white and features fancy black arabic numeral to mark the hours and fancy metal hands to point out the time. The hands are the old style that are pinned to the escapement, not secured with a nut like the newer models. There is a slow/fast adjustment on the dial in case the clock timing ever needs to be sped up or slowed down. The back of the clock is wood as well and there is a black metal cover that is secured with a metal latch. It opens easily to allow access to the key wind, mechanical movement that is fitted with a brass pendulum. The clock winds on two arbors located on the dial and runs for about 8 days or so on a single wind. The clock chimes too! At the bottom of each hour, the clock strikes a beautiful, deep, single chime on a coiled cathedral chime inside the case and correctly chimes the curr

The dial is somewhat yellowed, showing its age. We think this is part of its charm. This clock strikes the half hour on a bell and marks the hours on a cathedral gong. There is a fine time adjustment at the 12 hour mark; this is easily regulated with the small end of the included double-ended key. Dimensions are: 14.5 X 12" X 5" There are wooden panels on each side of the face. These are embellished with ornate copper or brass medallions. Impressive ODVY French Art Deco clock dating from 1920- 1930. Featuring two prowling panthers the clock was made ay the Odyv faience factory at Vierzon near Limoges. France and is in fantastic over-all condition with no chips or cracks. The movements(both the clock and the alarm) wind and work well, I can probably send a video clip of this by request. The golden guilding to the panthers has been over-polished in places and its nice that much of it still remains. The golden coloured faced and framed clock has its glass in place, the hands and the face are in perfect condition and the external frame has an aged patina. I purchased this gorgeous antique limestone mantle from Great Gatsby's Auction in Atlanta. Ga. about 18 years ago with the intention of including it in house plans. Unfortunately that never happened, so the mantle has been sitting unused and uninstalled all this time. Art Deco heavy marble mantle clock French circa 1920.. working keeps good time
We are once again about to return from our house in France. And have decided to clear out some French antiques that we are not using. so I am putting some on eBay I am at present in France and the items are here. I will return on 15th March. But will be able to bring things with me to post in the UK. thus reducing your postage costs considerably This auction is for a lovely Art Deco Mantle Clock in very heavy lovely varigated marbles and other stone. The polished marble is in super undamaged condition and is VERY HEAVY. Please note the clock case. The face, are all original period items, circa 1920. After this. It gets a bit"different" The movement has been replaced with a modern quartz one. so it never needs winding or servicing and always shows the time very accurately. It takes a single AA battery that lasts for several years. ... morethe one in it has been there for 3 years and is still OK. These movements can run for 5 to 8 years on one battery. This would be a great clock for someone who wants the weight and quality of an original 1920's Art Deco item. But is nervous of wind up clocks, with all the worries about it stopping or needing servicing. The other thing I need to mention is that the lady on the top is a replacement. It is securely fastened however and looks the part 100% In reality 99.9% of people would never notice the"modifications" and it has sat on my mantlepiece for 3 years and no-one has ever noticed it is not a wind up clock. I offer it here. As it would create a"space" for one of my much loved wind up pendulum clocks. Actually the one I have here on eBay with the Lady and doves is the one I want to put there(so I am hoping in a way, that it does not sell.
