Blowing off condenser coils and so forth. These fit some large refrigerant tanks(Refrigerant cylinders) which are often used for on-site service of chillers and other large systems. I don't remember which tanks these 1/2" fit. However. They are also useful with many refrigerant reclaim and recycle machines. I use a tank filled with compressed air& one of these fittings to blow saw dust out of my tools and other similar jobs. Cleaned the gutters with it once. It was really great at cleaning gutters. It was also great at making a mess on the driveway. Maple tree helicopters were everywhere. My dog loved chasing them!
