Up for bids. Is a lot of vintage, brass, gas parlor furnace parts. There are 2 threaded fittings- each a bit different. On one, the valve that turns comes out and there is no washer& screw in the end to hold it. On the other one, there is no second piece attached. The second picture shows all this. These pieces are 3" long. No markings on them. These are very ornate pieces. Also, very heavy. There are also 2 drawer pulls. They are 3 1/2" wide. On the back of one of these, is stamped 3185-2. antique CORNET with rotary valves in E flat
very unique E-flat cornet. I am guessing this horn was made around the turn of the 20th century during the height of the Sousa band era( when e flat melophones and altoniums were used instead of french horns of today) Brass with silver band on bell and the brand name. I could find no information about the brand. This horn was refurbished many years ago by my Father, who had his own musical instrument repair business. Since I was a trumpet player, I have had this horn im my possession for the last 30 years. The rotary valves( which can also date this horn) are in working order, although could use some oil, the condition is excellent. This is more of a novelty horn today because of the key it's in but it does play! buyer pays for shipping. It has no case.

DANSETTE TRANSIT VALVE RECORD PLAYER This is a very rare opportunity to purchase a fully serviced and restored Selmer Triumph-Reverb(Truvoice) amplifier dating from the early 1960s era. This is the only Selmer Triumph amplifier I have seen in many years and it was certainly worth restoring in terms of both the time and the money spent recently to bring it back to good condition. The Truvoice amplifier range were upmarket models produced by Selmer and were of the highest quality hand-wired construction and design. Much restoration work. Including replacement of numerous valves and other components, has been done recently to this one-time highly desirable amplifier. Greater details of the recent work are given below the accompanying pictures. I am almost certain that. At some time in its history, this amp has been removed from its original ... morecombo cabinet and mounted in an amp-head case. As far as I know, it was never in production as a head-only amplifier. However, there may be someone out there who knows differently! It's probable that someone has had the forethought to save this lovely amplifier and allow it to continue to serve in this amplifier-only format. They are superb valve amplifiers with the added benefit of a valve tremolo circuit and a valve driven reverb. From what I remember. These amplifiers were originally popular with guitarists and harmonica players for their great sound resulting from a combination of valve rectifier circuit and gutsy over-driven output tubes. I suspect that the amp's control knobs have been replaced at some time because the originals would have been cream coloured. However. The present controls are more or less contemporary and are all matching. Teamed with a suitable speaker cabinet the amp now sounds good with no"popping" or"hissing" For test purposes I have been playing it through a Marshal 1x12 open-back cabinet and it gave excellent results with only the normal background hum common to all valve amplifiers when idling. Traditional Low-pitch(LP) tuning(20 cents flat with included neck + 2 bits) Pitch will increase at lower altitudes(than CO) and at higher temperatures(1.7 cents for every degree above 68_F) Serial numbers on bell and valve block match. The 4-valves are nice to have. It's a bit of mental gymnastics. But the range seems more continuous, and you no longer have a dead zone between the contra and subcontra registers. Although this is a smaller Sousaphone. In Eb, the bore is the same caliber as the BBb Kings. This 4v EEb plays as low as a 3v Bb and has more confidence in the upper registers. This is a Selmer Trumpet Vincent Bach model. The valves are smooth and fast and it has good compression.Case. Mouthpiece, oil and cleaning wires are all included. There are some spots where the lacquer is missing and a couple of minor dings as you can see in the pictures. We tried to take pics from all angles but feel free to ask any questions.

Weril 971 trumpet- Well kept secret-really nice horn w/ great valves- check out!
Selling this Weril 971S silver trumpet made in Brazil. A very surprising horn to play and hear. I don't think there is a better horn out there for this price. It plays easily and slots very well. I can't find out much on this model but it is just under the Regium II. The valves are fluid and have a nice even throw and return. There are no issues with the horn and I would highly advise a good student to check this horn out. I even suggest it as a great back up horn for a pro. Some might even use it for his main horn. It's that good. The price is low so that I can pass it on. I got it a couple months ago and had a hard time letting it go. I enjoyed playing it. Greetings! Up for sale is a Bach TR 300 Bb trumpet that presents a lot of cosmetic wear such as dents. Scratches, and slide oxidation from use. Most of the lacquer is intact. It does play in tune and sounds good, however. It could use new felts(a 1 to 3 dollar fix) The Selmer case has some wear as well but does its job of protecting the horn. This purchase includes a generic 5C mouthpiece but I recommend that you get a better one such as a Bach for ease of tone. Also, the main tuning slide is fixed but all others are free. Vintage HOLTON Cornet 1912--Excellent Condition--Clean--Valves plated
Frank Holton"New Proportion" Couturier Model Cornet Holton"New Proportion" Bb Cornet. Couturier Model" on the bell above the engraving. Made by Frank Holton Co. In Chicago, 1912. Serial#16783. A nice vintage cornet with a slightly darker tone than the Holton-Clarke model(a different design) which replaced it a few years later. Satin silver plate Low(modern) pitch Nickel plated valves(plated in 2012) 460" bore Gold wash bell Excellent condition overall. Clean and ready to play. Please see all the photos. The valves have been plated with copper and nickel. And hand-lapped into the casings. They are very tight and smooth. There are no major dents. Just several very small dents here and there. And a few minor scratches, to be expected for a horn over 100 years old. Silver plate is about 98% The satin sandblast finish ... moreis original. It has not been buffed. Gold wash is wearing from the inside of the bell, but is still there. The leadpipe braces have been replaced(not by me) But the leadpipe is original. The"A" stop rod and 2nd valve pull knob are missing. In spite of the minor issues. It is a solid horn with great renewed valves and looks good too. Plays with a nice, old-time cornet tone. Plays best and the tones center well with a deep cup mouthpiece. No case or mouthpiece included. Will be packed well for shipping. Vintage 1960 Conn Connstellation 38B Trumpet/ Very Nice Player/ Great Valves!!
Nice Playing 1960 Vintage Constellation 38B Trumpet serial# 890049 My first professional quality trumpet was given to me by my parents in 1971. A used 1967 Conn Connstellation. At that time in my life, I did not appreciate this fine instrument. After owing many professional trumpets and quite a few Constellations I can now say they are some of the most amazing trumpets every built. The trumpet has a very dark sound at low volumes, almost sounding cornet like. When the volume is increase the tone really morphs into something very different, an open brilliant tone that will rival the best lead horns. No other trumpet I have owned quite responds like a Connstellation 38B. This horn is a very fine player. Not only does it have the classic Connstellation 38B sound and feel. But the valves are very nice and in great condition. See photo's) ... moreThe trigger works well and all slides are free and smooth. The trumpet has missing lacquer as would be expected for a 53 year old horn. There are no major dents on the trumpet and few if any dings. This is the earliest Connstellation 38B I have owned. And I do not claim to be the ultimate expert on the line but I believe it is possible that the original mouthpiece receiver and or lead pipe was replaced at some time. This has been one of many Connstellation's I have owned in my life as I am a collector of theses fine trumpets. This one plays very nice and is a superb example of the quality that is recognized with this model. Included is a new lightweight gig bag for carrying the trumpet. Thanks!

Huge lot priced low again dont miss.Great lot look close. Wide range of colors and styles. Some need cleaning. Great styles. Very old ones in this batch. All came from the local sanford maine mill. Go from 9in, 5in, to an 1 3/4in. The large one has nice web in back and embossed crane, open, and pat pend, very nice. Another small very nice one is embossed shut with an arrow.
