This is a Dempster hand pump. I was cleaning out behind my shop. And saw the bottom half of this pump. Somewhere, I remembered seeing the top of the pump, and the search was on. I told my dog. Who knows more than I do, what I was looking for, and he went into his dog house. It was not in there, but his pet cat was. Obviously I found the missing pump action and handle. I matched them up. And here they are, barn fresh! I am leaving it as I found it. All I did was use an air gun to blow some spiders away. It measures 14 inches tall. There are no cracks or breaks. I have another Dempster pump. It is the large type, stands about 4 feet tall, and a jack pump for a windmill. Those will be listed later, after you bid on this one. Vintage. Antique hand air pump. The Holiday Line" Measures around 13" in length, 2" thick, about 4 1/2" wide. Still pumps air.although I didn't try to inflate anything, but you can feel the air coming out of the nozzle. This was in a 1965 camp trialer so I would guess it is from around that time frame. What a great piece- this garden water well hand pump has been refurbished and works(see picture) The spout is at a 90 degree angle from the handle. It is marked on the handle"McDonald- Dubuque" see picture) Doesn't take much to make this one work- a few pumps of the handle and water is running through it. It has been refitted with new bolts and brass fitting. Contains the valve and with a few pumps. The water is flowing. Vintage Hand Water Pump by Columbiana Pump Company looks rustic
I have for sale a vintage pour spout water pump made by Columbiana pump company of Ohio. As you can see by the pictures it is a little rusty in area. No holes rusted through. It is mostly green with some red showing through as well as the bare metal. There is a base welded on the bottom that could be cut off if you didn't want it there.
