Older model Enerpac pump the was on a specialty press when I bought it years ago. The press finally got out of date(along with me) Well known brand and model in good shape. It was connected by a pair of hoses. The original plugs are back in the pump and it has been drained of fluid. Vintage Beekeeping Hand Pump Sprayer???? Copper & Brass
Vintage Beekeeping Equipment? I am not exactly sure what this item is. I got it from the estate of an elderly gentleman who used to raise bees and sell honey. As you can see. It has a hand pump handle where you would pump powder out the fixtures. The cap unscrews on the end of the tube and the two fixtures mounted on the sides will unscrew and screw onto the end of the tube. All three caps are interchangable. I believe that it was for spraying powder into the hive but I am not sure. It has a wood handle that attaches to what looks to be a brass rod inside the tube. Outer tube looks to be copper and the screw on fixtures look to be brass. I have not tried to file a small spot on any of this item to determine exactly if it is made of brass or copper, I didn't want to mar the surface. This old cast iron hand water pump has W&B Douglas and the number 2 on one side and Midd Conn on the other side. Handle moves up and down and there is part of the pumping plunger on the end of the rod as shown in the pictures. Don't know if it could be reconditioned to pump or not but would make a great display piece for your garden or mounted on an old cast iron sink. It measures approx. 15 inches tall. Base is 4 inches, mounting flange is 6 inches edge to edge. The handle is approx. 22 inches long. Weights about 20 pounds. Very little rust as shown in the pictures.

We acquired it to use as a reasonable replica for a Chicago Fire Department hand pump to use in our(Chicago) Engine 61 Museum& Fire Education Center and painted it accordingly. This is a vintage EMPTY brass fire extinguisher made by The General Detroit Corp. and it is the Quick-Aid model. It is the 1qt. size and is about 14” long and comes with it's mounting bracket which has a new coat of maroon paint. This has been polished and lacquered and has NO dings and NO dents. As you can see in the pictures. It displays very well. The label still retains most of it's original paint. The T handle moves in and out as designed. The T handle also has a new coat of brass tone paint as when new. Someone did a lot of research on the web site and that site states that General fire extinguishers were featured in Chris-Craft catalogs from 1937 thru 1960. This model is NOT shown on this site. This is a 1962 model and has 1962 stamped on the top edge. I believe that this is the last model of carbontetrachlorid extinguisher ... morethat General made. Up for bids at auction: Up for bids is this antique cast iron. Dempster Well Pump. This pump is in great condition, it was found at an old farm estate in Central Iowa where the pump had been sitting unused on an old well for many years. It has been cleaned, given two coats of primer and red enamel paint then detailed in white to keep it looking great for many years to come. All of the old rusted stuck nuts and bolts have been replaced and the pump can easily be re-plumbed to pump water. As you can see in the pictures, the pump is marked with raised, embossed lettering that reads, DEMPSTER MFG CO” on the stem as well as having embossed part numbers on the various pieces of the pump. The way it sits now, the pump displays beautifully and would make an eye-catching piece in any collection. The handle raises, lowers and works just as it should ... moreand the pump could easily be reconditioned to pump water by hand. The old water pipe was removed from the body and a new one can easily be installed. No damage to be found. Overall height from the base of the pump to the top of handle is 43 inches. As always, there's no reserve price, so it'll sell to the highest bidder- don't miss out by waiting until the last minute to bid.
