50 ft, 3/8in electric drain cleaner, model 68285, used
We had to have our sewer line cleared out twice in 1 year. Apparently because of tree roots. I bought this in hopes of saving money. I figured it would pay for itself by preventing two or three plumbers visits. I used this once. It operated fine. I’d never used a drain cleaning machine. But I was able to snake this a long way down the sewer line. I didn’t measure how far I went; probably at least 20 feet. After that I couldn’t get any farther. Either the sewer line became too narrow for the cutter I was using(I hear that my neighborhood has narrow sewer pipes) or I hit a root too hard to cut. Our sewer line has not needed to be cleared since I bought this 2 years ago. So I haven’t tried using this machine a second time. Free pickup available near Wilmington Delaware.
