This is a 2004 XMT 304 300 Amp Welding Machine. I purchased it on ebay not long ago because i didn't understand that the 304 line has several Phased Machines and styles. This specific Machine is 3 Phase only! It is too exspensive to convert it over to Single phase. However you can buy a Transformer box for Single Phase to convert it to 3 phase power for the machine, it's called a Phase Converter, however i suspect this would be too much for me and something that could mess up and cost as much as the machine to repair in the future. However, This machine does work with exact output Current and Voltage as it reads, which means it's not been abused over the Duty Cycle and holds a constant voltage and current for good welds. Just to be Certain about this I took it to Modern Supply to a guy there that works on welders in their Repair ... moreShop and he's been in Buisiness since 1982. He said it works and i have a picture of the Reciept in this Auction to proove it has been checked and that it works! The Highest Bidder will get this machine! This listing is for a nice Snap On Muscle Mig 120sl welder. This welder is in great shape and can be used for both mig/tig welding! It is a 115v welder with optional conversion to 230v and works very well! I talked to local Snap On dealer. And was told that this welder was basically the Snap On mm140sl prior to the 140 being released. I say this because I wasn't sure myself on some of the parts, and couldn't find the manual since I bought the welder from original owner, who didn't have the original manual. Local Snap On dealer assured me that all the parts are available for this welder through them! Also just replaced consumables which include new nozzle and tip. The machine is good, the TIG system works great, I have even used it with a miller wire feed system as the primary power source. Machine comes with a 300 amp Jackson stinger that is approximately 25 foot. the pig tail is 14 feet with a attached ground that is approximately 12 feet with an additional ground extinction of another 12 feet. The electrician disconnected it 2 years ago when I had to close down the shop, and she has been sitting in a box with plastic wrap on it for 2 years. This machine is heavy. This is a Miller Xmt 350. Multiprocess welder can do Stick MIG TIG with the proper accessories. This auction is for just the machine. Clean repaint that looks good and works good. The only cosmetic defect is a burn or slash in the face below the meters. It doesn't affect the reading of the meters or proccess tags. It is superficial. The machine welds very good. We tested this using 220 single phase power and produced nice welds. As you would expect from this. There is about 6 feet of 4 wire power lead connected to the machine. Use all 4 for 3 phase and black white and green for single phase. It has autoline so it senses the power coming in and automatically compensates for it. The serial tag is missing from the back but it is displayed inside the machine and I have pictured it LH030008A which makes it born in 07. My personal welder. No problems. Missing nozzle that is a consumable that is not expensive. Can use with flux wire now or add gas hose, gauges for shielding gas(this is how I have always used it. I just had to use this part with my new(I have had for a couple years) welder. Gun works fine, really everything does. I just went to the unit you could use co2 with for work around my farm. I am not a pro welder at all(pictures of my crappy welds available for proof! Ha) But the miller is a great machine. I have stepped over this in my garage for the last time! Welders are very heavy(if they are any good) I don't know if shipping this is feasible but you can pick it up in the great town of Altavista. Va. So pickup after PayPal payment is made.
