Vintage UNUSED MASONIC White LEATHER APRON &Embroidered Towel
Lovely estate find-vintage unused leather initiation apron with long white cords and tassels. Measures 15" X 13" cords over 40" each(different lengths. I don't know why) Please notice the back side- it appears to be taffeta- I've taken a close-up to show the grain of the fabric. I am including a fine linen towel that has embroidered cross on it. There are 3 small spots and a worn place on the hankie that I've indicated with the red pointer in the pics. The towel(or handkerchief) measures 25" X 10" Inside the flap it reads"Kemper Lodge No. 64 Falls Church. Virginia. Very old- and in excellent condition- but there is some creases from being folded in storage. Thanks for looking.

1780's HAND PAINTED AMERICAN MASONIC APRON SCALLOPED EDGE KID LEATHER
Very rare and original. Ca1780's soft kid leather, Shape Cut Masonic Apron. This very early. 18th century Masonic Apron measures approx. 12" across and 10" from top to bottom. The apron itself is made of a very soft. kid leather which is shape cut with scallop edges and retains its original blue cotton apron string which is hand sewn to the top edge. The Apron is decorated with the Compass and Square at the center surrounded by foliate garlands. There is a star at the top center flanked by the letters"H" and"R" and there are other Masonic symbols at the bottom including trowels, a spike, a hammer, etc. The decoration is all hand painted with a very light green colored paint which appears to have faded over the past 225 years from what was originally a darker green color(remnants of the darker green remain) ... moreWe have included a number of pictures below to show the content, quality and condition of this wonderful, very early 18th century Masonic Apron. The Apron is undated and unmarked in any way but it comes from a significant collection of early Masonic pieces and has been identified as ca1780-1790. The materials and the style of decoration are consistent with that seen in 18th century Masonic Aprons. The Apron is in good to very good condition. The soft and rather delicate leather substrate is well preserved and without serious physical damage or repairs of any kind. There is some soiling and creasing to the leather as can be seen below. As stated above the decoration has faded to a very light green. Almost buff color from its original dark green but is essentially intact although quite light in color. The Apron offered here is among the very earliest we have ever had the pleasure to own and is deserving of further research as well as a place in even the most advanced collection. This outstanding elaborately embroider decorated Masonic Apron measures approx. 14 1/2" across and 13 1/2" from top to bottom(not including the 2" long metallic braid fringe at the bottom edge) The apron itself features a soft. Kid leather central panel with narrow, white silk border on both the body and the flap. It is edged with a 2" braided metallic bullion fringe at the bottom edge of the flap and all around on the body. The flap features an"All Seeing Eye" surrounded by"rays" which is executed in gold gilt and brown paints. Vintage Orange SUEDE Leather Work APRON Maple Syrup Bottling
This apron is part of a vintage estate of a maple syrup producer in northern Minnesota. The former owner's daughter said that her father had used this apron during the bottling process when making maple syrup. The apron is in good. Used condition. I don't know if it is homemade or purchased. There is the Anchor Brand label inside, so perhaps it was purchased and maybe altered, or not. Near the bottom there are commercial staples which look to have added a section. The straps are secured by snaps; all in good, working condition.
