These are great vintage gloves that we found with a large collection of fire fighting memorabilia at a retired Chicago fireman's estate. These gloves do not have a maker's mark, so we're not entirely certain who made them or when. The gloves have a rubbery exterior, likely for use in wet conditions, with thick insulation on the interior. These have been used in active duty, so they've got wear commensurate with heavy firefighting use. They are marked with the name Frank and have some melting and discoloration which really gives them a great look. These gloves were worn by a Chicago fireman in active duty. So they have wear commensurate with heavy use of this type. There is some melting, discoloration and other heavy wear on the exterior. This is the Primer series glove in size large from Under Armour. it is insulated with Primaloft and is mostly waterproof. good glove for cold weather hunting. has a very tacky grip also for handling smooth surfaces. also keeps your hands from becoming clammy and sweaty from perspiration. almost perfect condition except for a couple tiny barbwire tears. they are almost unnoticeable however.
