This TAC key from the early 40's is all chrome.All there and ready to rock n roll,not original paddle or knob,knob red brown bakelite,paddle red brown fiber board, commonly found in the 50's. shorting knob is original black.Only one blemish on the deck just fore of the lever arm hole in the wall support( pic 7)contacts are in excellent condition.I would say overall 9 out of 10, a good opportunity to pick up a good one,4 x 6 1/2 x 1/2 base,around 5 lbs. 2 original weights.feet are good.double boxed, packed in egg crate foam,the best that I've found to package these keys.

Here's an authentic and incredibly rare Confederate Bowie knife. This large. Thick-bladed weapon is marked on the ricasso as being produced by: W. J. McELROY MACON GA. It is a large. Heavy knife, measuring 17 1/4" in overall length with a blade length of 12 1/2" The thickness of the blade is approximately 1/4" at the ricasso and the blade width is approximately 2" at its widest point. The knife features a spiral walnut handle with bronze crossguard and end cap. Blade is in very good condition with expected pitting and discoloration. It's a very well made Bowie and is very tight and solid. From William Albaugh's"A Photographic Supplement to Confederate Swords" At the start of the war. William J. She had never married. So after she passed away in 1980, my mother and other family members were tasked with going through her belongings and getting her house ready to be sold. These cards were headed to the burn pile until my mother rescued them and somehow they both had managed to store them in a very safe and sound way because most all appear to be in very good condition. T.R. McElroy s 600 super stream speed key
T.R. McElroy's s-600 super stream speed key made in 1941-42 came in a few different versions.This key has 3 mounting holes and I think platinum contacts being the s-600 pc.I am basing this description on the fact that the contacts had no tarnish whatsoever as silver would have.Not guaranteed but an educated guess.The shorting lever knob is not original but is not unattractive and makes a fine identifier given the absence of serial numbers.one set screw on one of the weights is a slotted screw and the lever stop screw head on the right side has suffered some abuse in the past.Chrome all around is good,some wear through on the lever trunion arch.I took plenty of pictures to show the various flaws and strengths.The paddle,knob and feet are original and good,the contacts are excellent.It has a copper lever arm pigtail and looks to be original.I ... morelike the dot spring setup,it's a light feeling spring requiring minimal effort.The key is heavy but the action is very nimble and light.

VINTAGE MCELROY OUTBOARD KICKER MOTOR MOUNT & LIFT 18 HP
I purchased this used off ebay about 10 years ago and have used it since. It functions well and has a very strong spring. The wooden portion has a few chips out and shows indentations where the motor was attached but is still strong enough to hold any motor you want to put on it. It's about 1 3/4" thick. I would sand it off and put a coat of varnish on it. The two bolts that rest against the wooden plate are rusted and could be replaced. They can be removed by putting a rod in one of the holes in the circular end and twisting. This is the way the spring is tightened to adjust to your motor weight. It's heavy and I'm not offering return on it as shipping costs will be high. RARE Vintage WRL Globe Trotter / McElroy MT-35 Transmitter
This is a rare World Radio Laboratories(WRL) Globe Trotter AM and CW transmitter from 1946. This is an early post-war offering from WRL. It is the first one that I have seen in my 55 years as a ham and I have a ham buddy in his 80s who told me he had never seen one. And he was a ham radio dealer back in the 50’s. The Globe Trotter covers 80 through 10 meters using plug-in coils and crystals(three 40& 80 meter xtals installed. And four additional 40& 80 meter crystals included in this auction) The Globe Trotter was made to run 40 watts CW and 25 watts AM. Tubes are: 6L6 Oscillator, 807 Final, two 5U4 Rectifiers, 6SJ7 Speech Amp, 6N7 Driver, and two 6V6 Modulators. The manual says“The Globe Trotter incorporates the new hot cathode Xtal Oscillator circuit which allows complete band coverage from 10 to 80 meters using only a 40 or 80 ... moremeter Xtal. I could find very little information on the transmitter on the Internet. I did come up with a copy of the manual and this transmitter appears to be complete when compared to the manual. I.e. the layout is identical to the pictures of the top chassis in the manual including the placement of the crystals. This transmitter is in outstanding cosmetic original condition as you can see from the pictures. It has not been restored. There are a few small rust spots here and there and a few scuffs and scratches. But considering its age, it is amazing. It really is a“time capsule” One bit of information related to the Globe Trotter that I did find on the Internet at http:www.trainsim.com/tonofradios/mt-35.htm relates to the McElroy MT-35 Transmitter. The McElroy MT-35 transmitters were manufactured by Ted McElroy. The key and bug guy. Shortly after WWII he branched out from keys and started selling the MT-35 Transmitter but apparently only sold a few of them.
