It was not considered a recall but a"policy" It affected certain drives made before 2005 I think. The large sticker on the base was applied by A-B during the work they did. They were pulled during a control system upgrade and should be ok to use. We did have some problems with the COM Ports going out on these early VFD's. These drives were not installed in a panel where the com port was used. This is the only possible problem that might exist with them. They are not tested. Just pulled from a shelf to be listed. This auction is for three(3) pieces of Type 1625 beam power tubes. Typically used in the RF final amplifier(or driver) stage in vintage military and ham radio transmitters, as well as serving as modulators in many transmitters. They also carry the military nomenclature of VT-136. All three of them are used and without boxes. All tested good in my TV7/U military tube tester. The type 1625 was a design released by RCA in September. 1943, as the 12.6 volt variant of the famous type 807 tube(released on the same date) It has a rated plate dissipation of 25 watts and has a 7 pin Micanol(tan) base. The 1625s were used in numerous WWII military transmitters, such as the SCR-274. AN/ARC-2, AN/ARC-5, TCS, and many more. They were also popular in ham radio gear after the war because of availability in large quantities at low prices. These tubes would ... morebe of interest to those restoring and using military and ham transmitters of the post-war and early 1950s era. These tubes were part of a lot I obtained from a retired local ham. As you can see from the photos. The glass envelopes are in excellent condition, with no nicks or scratches. The bases are free of chips and cracks, and all pins are intact. The base and on-glass markings are as shown in the photos. Here is the story for each of these tubes: 1. The two(2) RCA tubes: The base of each tube is ink stamped with the RCA logo. The VT-136 designation, and what appears to be a date code that does not fully correlate with the information I have in Ludwell Sibley's reference book, Tube Lore. The code that appears is"S4E" The"4" translates to production during the July-August time frame. And the"E" refers to being an OEM tube(as opposed to having been sold as a replacement type) The"S" is the question; according to Sibley's book, that letter implies a manufacturing date in 1942, a date not possible for a tube that was not released for production until 1943. Waves Music. Waxie Maxies, The Wall, Camelot and finally Sam Goody. Since 2003 I have worked at a live concert venue and a movie theater/ comedy club. Over the years I collected a lot of promotional material. I also have friends that tour with bands and give me their merchandise to handle. I want to offer you part of my collection. This is great for any true fan or collector. I have tons of stuff. Stickers. Posters, flats( 1 x 1)mini album cover art posters, cds and other items. Most of the items I am offering are rare or really hard to come by. Some items were received at meet and greets. All Autographed items ... moreare legit. Did many meet and greets with artists. All items sold as a group. I will not sell anything separate. The posters and flats that I have all have small creases/folds/rolls/tears from being stored all these years. Ones with larger tears or that have been fixed with tape I will let it be known. None of the posters have been hung or mounted. Some of the magazines covers aren’t in great shape. Some might have small tears or creases/ folds. All cds are in great condition. Some items are still in original packaging. Some items have been used and show normal wear and tear. I’m not trying to hide anything from anyone and want to make an honest sale. Posters I will ship in tubes unless they have been folded or have creases. So if you think it’s a bit high sorry but I am accounting for supplies and shipping. Also some of the posters are made of cardboard( used for street teaming outside)and not just regular paper this will make them heavier and more to ship.
