Bell & Howell 4 Station Jumbo Inserter
We have had this jumbo inserter at our shop for years. We used to use it quite a bit. But we lost the account for which we needed it and the operator who knew how to use it has moved on, so it's not worth having any more. This inserter has four stations and will fill 9 x 12 or 10 x 13 booklet envelopes. It does do smaller envelope but we did not use it for other sizes since we have another inserter. It works well, but our operator knew the ins and outs and was able to keep it running. I would suggest this for a shop that has a pretty good operator who doesn't mind fiddling with the settings and parts. I would encourage anyone who is thinking about buying it to come down to Torrance and see it for themselves; it is a bit temperamental but with some TLC it runs very well. I am selling a used Hasler HJ600P Inkjet without the original printing software(I will throw in the laptop that has the software with your purchase) I have personally used and well cared for this machine for the past 2-3 years. I have kept it in great shape. This unit is in good physical condition. It may have a few minor scratch and dents from moving a couple of times over the years but none of which affects the performance. I have kept it in a garage for the last 6 months but am confident that it is in working condition. Rollers are in decent shape as it may need to be changed eventually. This is a used conveyor for catching your mail pieces as they come out of your address printer or tabber. This piece of equipment is particularly useful when your ink needs a little extra time to dry before the next piece falls on top of it. I have used this in this way with a fan blowing over it and also with an infrared light shining over it. Be careful not to stop the conveyor for any length of time with the infrared light on it or it will start to melt a conveyor belt. Also this is useful because you can print more pieces without stopping than you can if you just let the postcards or whatever pile up in a stack. I have had this conveyor in storage for a long time. It works well. But is a bit dirty.
