This item comes from an Estate Sale. It seems to be in decent condition. I powered the unit up and it heats up just fine and the thermostat seems to be working. I did notice there was some writing that was transferred from a t-shirt onto the upper heating pad. I will add a picture of this later in the week. The power cord seems to be in good condition and as far as I can tell the item seems to be working just fine. However I am selling this item as a parts only or repair machine as I want to sell it sold as is no returns. Heat press for hats and small logos
I have a used manual heat press that was made to transfer small logos to hats and other merchandise like shirts bags and so on. It was purchased from Press-a-Print around 2003 but I have not used since 2008 other than testing it for this auction. I may have transferred bout 1.000 or so logos with this heat press so it is in good shape. The heat press has an adjustable setting for the heat and a beeper style timer that goes off form 0 to 60 seconds. You will have to manually release the arm after the timer goes off to prevent scorching your product. I have an owners manual for the heat press that will help keep it functioning correctly. It has a spring loaded bracket to keep the hat tight when transferring the logo. You can also adjust the amount of pressure you want to put on the item you are printing. This press has been used to print about 1000 mugs or so. The rubber padding inside the sleeve is cracking(see pic) however this hasn't effected the quality of the prints. A new pad that came with the press when I purchased it will also be included. Some of the teeth holding the sleeve to the press have come off however this hasn't effected the performance either.
