We bought this printer in November 2007 and used it till we quit our sign business in 2010. Since then it has been used occasionally to do 18wheeler truck doors and small signs for friends. It was working great the last time I used it. But it has sat for several months and the ink has dried in the cap tops. I have new cap tops and if time permits will replace them before the auction ends. This printer has been well maintained with various parts replaces as needed. Regretfully selling my Roland SP300 large format printer and cutter. Selling due to large medical bills. The until in person shows a little sign of wear.mainly just stains from all of the printing and what not but everything works fine. You can print your own posters. Flyers, stickers etc. You can even print on transfer paper and make your own t-shirts and patches. I've made lots of money off this machine and saved tons from NOT going to Kinkos! The cutter will razor out even the smallest details. It's really quite awesome to watch the cutting head work. Shipping is going to be tricky because this printer is NOT small.and it isn't light. I purchased the printer basically new from an older gentleman who has purchased it intending to make custom graphics for little league baseball uniforms but the design software I guess was to much to learn so I purchased it about a year ago. I learned everything from scratch and sold custom decals on Etsy but with my full time job becoming more time consuming I must say goodbye to this amazing machine. It really does everything. Prints so vivid and the cutting is precision tuned. I leave it in constant stand bye mode so all the necessary cleaning and maintenence is performed automatically by the printer. I have only used certified Roland Inks and Waste Ink containers. It has been babied and has so much life yet. Hello. Fellow ebayers. Up for auction here is one, used Roland VersaCamm SP-300V Printer/Cutter. I bought it a few months ago from a lady who didn't want or use it anymore. She let it set for a year unused. Then put in new ink, but it would not print anything. She said that she wouldn't use it enough to have a technician repair it. I had planned to repair it, but I see that I don't have the time or energy to fix it. It is a 30" printer/cutter. The cutting function works(see the picture of the test cut) It powers on just fine and goes through its cleaning function. But, when it cleans itself, no ink goes into the wast ink bottle. And, when you send a file, it tries to print, but no ink comes out. Because there seems to be nothing wrong with and of the boards or electronics, I think the printer is very repairable. With enough ... morehead soaking, the printheads might work again. And, there are printhead cleaning/restoring services out there. A new printhead on ebay sells for around $750. It's not that difficult to replace one of these DX4 printheads. Two new caps and 4 new dampers will cost less than $50 here on ebay. I have a PDF copy of the Roland Service manual that goes with the printer. It tells you how to do all repairs on this printer. It has a new-style ink pump, but it's probably clogged. I have a new, new-style pump that goes with the printer. The three installed 440ml 20/20 Color ink carts in the printer are full. The 220ml Roland black ink cart is full, also. The Roland VersaWorks CD is included. You can install it and then update to the latest version on the Roland website. I will also include a working Flexi Pro 10.5.1. But, I think most users go with VersaWorks because it was designed specifically for Roland printers/cutters. Please ask any questions. Roland PC-12 Thermal Resin/Wax Printer Cutter. Sold As-Is but was working fine the last time I used it. Prints& Cuts on vinyl up to 12" wide. Uses CMYK and spot colors. Including Metallic Silver Foil and Gold Foil. Comes with printer, power cable, media roller tray, 17 various Roland color cartridges and a bunch of xeronine replacement ribbons. These machines are a little finicky. But are the only printers of this type that can print spot colors without upgrading to the expensive gerber edge systems. This was actually my started machine until I bought an Edge FX. Note that I believe this may only be compatible with windows XP. I actually used it running XP on VMWare Fusion on a mac laptop.

Available for purchase is a used Roland Versacamm SP-300V. It is used but has had a complete overhaul. We have another machine identical to this. And it had a print head die. We needed it fixed immediately because we had jobs due(Roland tech was going to take 7-10 days to get here) So we found this machine on craigslist and went and picked it up just to get the print heads out of it. Once our main machine was back up and running, we did a complete overhaul on this spare. It received new printheads, was converted to a SP-300V(it was a 300) and it received an upgraded main board, plus new dampers, captops, print head ribbon cables, cutting blade, wipers, data encoder strip, and more. To keep the printheads in good shape, the machine has been filled with genuine Roland brand cleaning liquid. The buyer of this machine will need to have a Roland ... moretech flush the cleaning liquid out, or should know how to refill the lines with ink themselves. We also recommend having a Roland tech set the machine up for you after transportation. The machine also comes with a spare pump, a spare print head, Roland Color RIP on DVD, as well as Roland Versaworks on DVD, and some other spare odds and ends(fuses, captops, etc. It also comes with all of the factory documentation that came with it when purchased new, such as the user's guide and manual. Will print gold and silver mirrored finish as well as white and a host of other spot colors. Print life of thermal resin is between 3-7 years outdoor in the sun without lamination, more if laminated with a quality lamination. Thermal resin is also environmentally friendly releasing zero odors or emissions, and is instantly dry. Best of all though is the fact that there is no liquid ink! No spills, no clogged lines or expensive print heads rendering your machine useless only because it wasn't used often enough. Roland SP-540V is a 54" eco-solvent printer/cutter using CMYK inks. Machine has been run approximately 2-3 hours each day. We have had factory technicians do the maintenance and repairs. Includes Versaworks RIP software. Excellent for those cutting vinyl and doing printing. Very capable of doing runs of die-cut printed labels. We purchased new in late 2007; this model was discontinued in March of 2007. We added a bulk ink system several years ago to reduce our ink cost and it works great; our cost for ink went from $85 for a 440ml cartridge to $45 for a 500ml bottle. I am selling a used Roland Versacamm VP-300i Printer/cutter. The machine is in good working condition. The printer has been used in a home office for my business. The printer has had a small amount of material run through it compared to a full time print business. I have ONLY used Roland OEM ink. I have not used any third party ink in this printer. All OEM print cartridges that have been used on this machine are still in my possession. I recently(2 months ago) replaced the black print head with a factory print head. The replacement was done by my local Roland dealer. All print heads are firing normally and works great. The print head was replaced due to misfiring of the head. Roland Versacamm SP 300. Print & Cut Eco Solvent plotter printer cutter
Roland SP300. Works! Heads OK! This is the original SP300. Unit is well used but prints correctly. These older Roland Units do require some TLC to get the best possible print. And this one is no exception. Unit was recently serviced by dealer. Has recently received new pinch rollers, new calibration strip, new liner calibration sensor. Has new dampers and caps. Occassionally will glitch on print and cut operations whereby it stops contour cutting. I haven't figured out this glitch yet so expect it from time to time. If your prints rarely need to be contour cut. Then you'll likely have few issues with this other than the normal TLC these older SP300's require. FYI. The later versions used 4 heads. This original ones use two heads and is the reason for the TLC. Black and Cyan use one head, Yellow and Magenta use the other head. ... moreThe issue is sometimes the colors cross contaminate and the solution is a deep clean cycle to purge the ink from the head and get fresh ink into the head.
