Not sure what small duplicator printing press this is for. 11 1/2" LONG 3 1/2 WIDE Both are oscillating rollers. The rusted one gets stuck sometimes when oscillating. The darker one has no rust. Oscillates, but has two cracks shown in photo. Maybe you can interchange the guts because the rusted one has no cracks. I admire anyone who is still running a Chief. I ran a 117 for years. But moved up to a Ryobi, so now I'm selling the old Chief off as parts. If you need an ink fountain. This one is in very good working condition. The key on the far left is slightly bent(see photo) and there's a little ink buildup on the sides(as shown) Otherwise in excellent condition. Sigwalt #11 Letterpress printing press - restored & 100% print ready
This press has been completely disassembled. All painted parts were stripped down to the metal and re-finished with 2 coats of primer then 2 coats of color and a clear coat. All non-painted parts(pivoting rods. Ink arms, etc. were cleaned thoroughly. The fasteners in platen back and chase have been replaced with new stainless steel hex drive screws. The platen has been balanced to the chase bed with.040" packing under the tympan and is included with the press. The additional sheets of press packing included will allow you to change the packing under the tympan to adjust the print impression height as you change stock caliper. This is much easier than re-balancing the platen each time you change stock caliper. The press is currently packed to print on.012" stock. For example. If you wanted to print on.007" stock, you would add ... morea sheet of.005" packing under the tympan. As with any press, the condition of your type and blocks and the uniformity of the type height will ultimately determine the quality of the printed image. The type used to print the proof card was not new. Rollers& trucks are new. Rollers have only been used on this press(to verify press balance and roller& truck quality) to print the card in the photo gallery for this item. The press has been secured with stainless steel fasteners to a base made of oak which is stained& coated with a satin polyurethane. Rubber feet are fastened to each corner of the underside of the base so the press& base will not'walk' when printing. Base is long enough so that the back of the press will not lift off when you push the press on impression. Included with this press: 2 rollers& trucks- 2 sheets.010 press packing- in addition to what is already under the tympan on the press- 3 sheets.005 press packing- 3 sheets.002 press packing- 5 sheets tympan(in addition to the sheet that is on the press) 4 hex wrenches(chase. Automatic Screen Printing Press - Silk Screen
This is a Schenk 8-color. 14-Station Automatic Screen Printing Press. I bought this machine used and was told it came from a company in Florida that printed Disney merchandise. It was disassembled in Florida and moved to Atlanta, Georgia, which is where I bought it. I drove from Amarillo, Texas to Atlanta, Georgia and picked the press up myself. Two weeks after I bought this press, I bought an entire screenprinting company that already had an automatic press. I have never assembled the press, it has been in stored in my back shop since I bought it, therefore, all I really know is what I was told when I bought it. I don't have the need, nor the room to operate two automatics in my shop, so I chose to sell this press to give me more room. There is a Schenk USA distributor located in Los Angeles, CA. according to them, this press sold new ... morefor around $130,000.00. Like all German equipment, it is very well engineered and well built. It has air lock screen clamps, individually adjustable air regulators on each head, etc. There is no economical way to ship this, it would cost a fortune to have someone ship it for you. I used a 24' enclosed trailer to move it and it was totally full. You would need to pick this up at my shop and would need to bring help to load everything. I could arrange to have a fork lift to load the base, everything else can be moved and loaded by hand. If you have questions, I will be happy to try to answer them for you. It is located in my back shop, so I can go back there and look at anything you ask about or take additional pictures of anything specific and email them to you. They are in varying conditions with some having wear and/or damage. Up for auction is an unusual and rare block printing press made by Waldcraft from Indianapolis. IN in about 1915. It appears to be in excellent condition with all parts present and operational. The block size is 8" x 6" There is one block with it that is the same size as the platten with an image of the Lincoln's Monument statue on it. I don't know if it is good or not.
