Vintage 1960 Teen Time Paper Dolls. Original Box states that there are 32 costumes and accessories-this set has 31. Dolls are made of a hard. Thick cardboard and are very sturdy. No damage to either Merri or Ginny. The clothes for these dolls seemed to be used on a paper that has slightly yellowed over time. However, all of Merri's clothes are in pristine condition with the exception of the long,dark green jacket with blue stockings. It's condition is wonderful, but the owner cut a slice on the chest line on the left side between the breast and the elbow. WHY? Ginny's clothes are all in great shape as well, with the following exceptions: Blue suit dress with 3/4 length sleeves- very small(2mm) tear at bottom tab of skirt. A piece of old pharmacy prescription compounding department equipment for folding powder papers into charts. End product would be similar to how BC Powder or Goody Powder are packaged into single doses. The wings of this tool were used to fold the waxed papers into uniform shapes or sizes. So they would fit well and present well in a small cardboard box or container. Then, pharmacy label was affixed to the cardboard box that contained the powders. Loosen thumb screw to adjust the spread of the wings for different size charts. Thumb screw tightens to lock in size of powders you were trying to make. No marking as to the maker of this piece. It is made of a silver colored metal and the base is especially heavy for its size. As you can see in the photos, there is some light rust or surface corrosion.
