Antique Bronze Champleve 3 Light Table Lamp c. 1900's. Japanese Beautiful. Large, antique Japanese bronze/champleve with three lights. Entire lamp from base to top of hardware pole is 28" to the top of the base is 15" and the base is 9" in diameter. Light sockets are not original and the cord is not new but is in good condition. This lamp has some flaking of the enamels and is missing enamel in four circles that are in the second band of decoration from the top. The gilding is worn off that once covered all the metal areas but I believe that is the case with most of these pieces. Champlevé is an enamelling technique in the decorative arts. Or an object made by that process, in which troughs or cells are carved or cast into the surface of a metal object. And filled with vitreous enamel. The lamp stands 12" tall when standing straight up and 8 3/4" tall as pictured and the base is 4 3/4" across. For your consideration is this cool vintage articulating arm light. This old light was used as a work light and can be mounted with screws either onto a table or on the wall as a sconce. This light is made of steel. So it has great old patina, it had a some surface rus, so it was brushed. The light has a clear coat to enhance and protect it. The GE socket is original to the light, but has been rewired with reproduction tan twisted cloth cord, with original bakelite plug. The cord is long enough to plug in either as a lamp or a sconce. The lower articlating arm is 12" long and the arm closest to the socket is 16"long. Both of the adjustment mechanisms move well and hold securely in any position. Vintage Diax Tensor 7100 Desk Table Wall Task Light Lamp-Eames Era Mid-Century
This is a very cool articulating Diax lamp made by Tensor that can either be wall-mounted or just set on a desk. It's a folding/adjustable small lamp and is therefore very portable. It's made of gold-tone metal and cream plastic. It definitely has an Eames Era/Mid-Century look to it. The lamp is in excellent vintage condition with no imperfections to even make note of. There are only very minor signs of wear here and there. It entire lamp measures about 19" tall when the arm is extended all the way out. The length of the cone measures just over 3" and its diameter about 2 1/4" at its opening. The base measures about 4 1/2" x 2 1/4" The lamp folds up to about 10" x 3" Please note this lamp works great and it does come with a functioning bulb! The 12 napkins have scalloped edges and a matching corner eyelet design. The set is a very creamy or very light peach color. The table cloth measures 98.5" x 65.5" The napkins measure 15.75" x 16.75. One napkin has a pinhole. One has a pinhole size green mark, and one has some loose thread on one scalloped edge. A Fantastic piece of steampunk design floor/table light.
A great bit of fun/steampunk lighting. Consists of a solid piece of oak which has an industrial fuse box attached.This in turn has a light fitting fixed to it. There is a great meter dial on the top which used to measure the amperes. The'Off load isolator' was made by Ellaston- all of which is impressed to the front of box.To the side is a lovely on/off switch.There is an additional makers plate mounted to the oak stand/base which is made of solid brass.There is a chrome pipe fixed to the rear of the fuse box which goes to a new chrome bulb holder. There is new wiring also which is braided cloth in a brass colour.The light is switched on via the fuse box switch which is located at the base of the box- see picture 6- it is made of brass and is original to the unit- there is also an on/off to the bulb holder.The unit has been shot blasted ... moreand polished with metal polish.The shade is for illustration only and is not included in the sale. Normal 0 Vintage Small Lead-Crystal Accent Lamp Lamp is in good shape and works. Base is a little tarnished. I don't see any damage to the glass. It is very heavy. And I am only guessing than it is lead crystal, it may not be, but is still a very handsome lamp. Great size too. 11” tall and 5 ½” perfect for an accent lamp anywhere you like. Does not use a standard light bulb. It runs on the small“Christmas light size” Given the cord style and cardboard bulb fixture. I’m guessing this is from the 1930s– 40s.
