Here we have a wonderful Adana Eight-Five English made letterpress printing press. The letter bed is 8'Wide x 5'High. What you see in the image is what you get. The Press is in wonderful condition like new the rollers are new and the whole thing has been re condition to almost brand new. The press works like a dream. It comes secured to an oak board with rubber feet. Also included are some wooden furniture and the metal screws to secure them. We will be shipping this UPS.

8x5 Kelsey Excelsior model U and supplies A late model of the Kelsey Co. letterpress Found in good condition. Disassembled, cleaned, painted, tested. everything moves and adjusts easily. No brakes or welds I would recommend bolting to a board or table for long runs. other then some ink staining- disk and other flat surfaces are in great shape. Paint color is called dark metal metallic with some parts painted black. Comes with a lot of stuff; see photos. New rubber rollers with locked trucks. New Box car base. One chase. Has a counter mounted to press. A lot of different press packing. Long and sort fingers[grippers] normally removed for box car base and use foam gauge pins some included. new gripper spring. Short fingers are new also. There is a set of mixing ink. 10 colors and white if I remember. I prefer not to open to look it is double ... morerapped for ground shipment only, may have to be removed for air shipment. In any case there is no guarantee on ink making it ok only press. It is well packaged and ready to go. There will be some shipping insurance on it normally it only pays if they loose it not damage. I do ship presses all over the world and have not lost or broke one so far. Fed-ex and UPS are easy to deal with. Shipping is for cost final weight and insurance is done in person dropping it off. I don't remember what they came off. Probably a Kelsey of some sort but not sure? Possible a 3x5 Kelsey? Check the measurements on your press and buy them for what you think you can use them for. Rubber is shot and needs to be recast so the value here is in the trucks and core rods. The third scan shows them next to a ruler for measurement. They are 8 1/2" long. Offered is a Takach Hand Inking Roller. Serial No. 069150. The roller surface is 12.75" wide, with a diameter of 4.75" and a roll-out length of 15" and the roller weighs 6lbs. It is in used condition, with plastic handles, and leather roller cuffs, and the rubber is a specially ordered 50 Durometer. It was used for letterpress printing, and has some slight wear on the surface, but is still very useable. It is too large for my needs, but would be perfect for a press with a large printing area. Up for bids is this vintage Craftsmen letterpress. It was recently found in an estate sale just as you see it. It appears to be in good condition. It would be really nice looking all painted up or used as is. The rollers are soft but they might need replacing. The chase measures 8" X 11" so I am guessing this to be an 8 X 10? Chandler & Price 14 1/2 x 22 letterpress printing press
Your looking at a Chandler& Price 14 1/2 x 22. From the what I've gathered it was manufactured in 1931. This press is big and runs smoothly. I purchased this last year and refurbished it myself. Which means I took it all apart. Cleaned 80 years of ink and grease off of it, welded any cracks, painted it and put it back together. You won't find a cleaner/ shinier press. The only cracks on the press were on the roller arms. I had them professionally welded and should last a long time. The press comes with 4 rollers that need to be recovered. I did an embossing job on the press and that is it. The only thing the press is missing is the bottom gear that turns the inner inking disk. The motor is 220V, 1 hp@ 1165 rpm which turns the machine too fast for my liking. You must spin the machine by hand in order to get it going. I've been ... moresearching for a variable speed motor but if it sells before I find one then so be it. The press comes with 2 chases, a platen wrench, and tools to assist pulling the rollers. This press is in my garage at my residence. Local pick up preferred but willing to ship if arranged by buyer. Shipping must take place within 3 weeks of purchase. Vintage Craftsman Victory Letterpress Manual Hand Operated Printing Press Rare!
For your consideration is this vintage. Hard to find, Craftsman Machinery CO, Boston Mass, letterpress, printing press. I know little about these. My research indicates that this is a Victory model. In very solid condition with little rust. One thing that I found interesting is the Craftsman name in the casting on the side is missing an"a" As shown in the photos, it is spelt Crftsman, not Craftsman. The flat metal plate( I think is called the platen) measures about 7 3/4" by 5 1/2" The rollers are missing. The metal bracket and wood tray that holds the paper is also missing. There are four bolts that have been replaced. One is a hinge bolt, One of the bolts that attaches the platen and the two bolts that attach the bracket that holds the round ink plate. These bolts are two long and are interfering with the lever that ... moreturns the round plate. These should be visible in the photos and a easy fix with the proper bolts. Not sure if there is anything else missing. Otherwise, mechanically, it appears to be in working condition. Very hefty piece of equipment weighing in at 54 pounds. Brass foil stamping press letterpress type 6 sets printing
Lot of brass foil stamping type from a collection of an owner of a family run printing company for generations. This lot includes all that you see in the drawers. I attempted to photograph the two smallest type in the bottom 2 drawers. Without much success. I do not know the name of the font on any of these or what pt they are. shipping is listed without the box. with the box, it weighs 28# and would probably be best to go by fedex ground. please email with zip code(if you want the box) for shipping costs or do an estimate on your own(whatever suits you! otherwise, I will remove the type carefully and place in envelopes and send priority small box flat rate. BALTIMOREAN #11 2 ROLLER LETTERPRESS PRINTING PRESS
This is a BALTIMOREAN# 11 TWO ROLLER PRINTING PRESS. It will operate but it is not smooth. There are two clean cracks as shown in last photo, there is a obvious added clamp and it does not have the rollers. Having said all of this it is a neat survivor and a very good candidate for restoration or for a little piece of history.

I believe it was probably made by the Baumgarton Co. although there are no marking from that Company and that Company was connected to Baltimore Printing Press. The Base of the Press measures 4 1/2 by 6 inches and it has some wear and paint wear plus there are a couple spots with older grinder marks with one on the side of Red Handle and one on the smaller Green Handle(photo 7) There are no Letters or other accessories with the Press. Since there are no Letters on the Press the Handle goes further ... moredown than normal so it needs to be lifted a little in the middle swivel area to clear and lift handle. ANTIQUE LETTERPRESS PRINTING PRESS SIGWALT SIDE LEVER ROUND BASE no 25 7X10
Hello and welcome- Up for bid is an antique Sigwalt Nonpariel? letterpress. Printing press, in working condition. I'm not an expert, but will do my best to describe it.and questions are welcome, as well as other photos, just ask what you'd like me to take a picture of, and I'll email it to you. I think it's an early Sigwalt Nonpariel, from the limited research I've done(thank you Briar Press) It is working- the stirrup handle. Side lever pulls down smoothly, and advances the disc with an arm that engages and moves while the lever moves, and the two rectangular surfaces come together- The inking disc is 10" in diameter, and the place where you put the type is 7" x 10" measured to the outside) In one of the pix a 12" ruler is placed across the platen and you can see that it is 10" wide. You'll ... morehave to get your own rollers and trucks. Also. One of the roller supports is missing the spring that runs along it. Not sure what else you'll need- maybe a chase? There is a raised number 25 in numerous places- 25 B. 25 D, 25 S, etc. I think the letter stands for the part, and the number is the model number. Round base and side lever with a stirrup handle make this an early Sigwalt. I think. The stirrup handle still has the original wood and there is much original paint and decals. I think the metallic decals have hand painted accents in colors such as green and red. Both sides have the same flourishing decals, and there is some pin striping visible in parts. It has some grease and grime on much of it. But I think this preserved it from rusting. I cleaned some of it, and some of the rust off the disc(green scrubby) and it looks like a smooth, clear surface. The greasy grime comes off easily enough with elbow grease and a soft cotton cloth dipped in alcohol. I used a green scubby and rubbing alcohol in some areas, and this removed the grease without damaging the paint. I didn't proceed further because I really don't want to disturb anything original, in case the new

These presses were made in Boston. Massachusetts in the 1950s. It has no ink residue. Cracks, chips, repairs or welds. It comes with a 6 ½" by 10" chase. The ink disk has no pitting. It has new rollers(still in wrappers) and trucks from N.A. Graphics, the leader in letterpress supplies; these alone are over $200.00. Also a new keyway was installed on the shaft of the lever. This press operates fine. It has the original cast iron support arms. Which held a wood-feeding tray. The tray is missing. This could be easily fabricated.
