Kingsley Hot Stamping Machine Model M-50 With One Box of Typeset
Presenting a Kingsley Model M-50 hot stamp machine and one box of RMB 18ps. HOBO type set lettering. We are not at all familiar with the operation of this machine. Other than it was used, we believe, to make plaques for trophies. Did test the machine per the attached instructions. Unit did heat to 350 degrees, then using the dial thermostat on the left rear of the machine we were able to regulate the heat per the dial setting. Recommended heat range is between 240 and 270 depending on the material being stamped. Type set holder is still full of letters, so it appears the machine was in use, and then put aside in it's the setup condition for the last job. Box of typeset is not complete, but some of each letter is present, plus what is still in the type block. Also different punctuation pieces are in the box. Having no direct knowledge ... moreof the operation of this machine we are offering it" as is" but after testing, we believe it to be a fully functional machine. This listing is for a vintage hot foil stamping/embossing machine. It is made by Kingsley. There is no model number on it but it looks just like the Model M-50 that I’ve seen here on eBay. I plugged it in. Turned it on and it started heating up. I moved the knob to high and it heated all the way up to 300. So it seems to be working just fine. It is in very good condition. I haven’t tried to clean or polish it up. But I know it would probably clean up like new. There are a lot of extras. Please look at the photos to see everything that comes with this machine. On the front of the machine is a temperature gauge and the gauge works as it should as well. The machine is in good cosmetic condition. There is nothing broken or missing on the machine. The machine appears to be complete. The machine comes with 1 roll of gold foil and all the type sets that are pictured. The machine measures approx. 20” tall(with handle) by 9” wide by 12” deep.
