I got a Franklin signet embosser in Norwood mass manufactured for the universal match corp in st louis missouri.I checked it and it does get hot looks to be in good shape has temp settings from 0-80 Does get hot. Worm screws all good shape clamps type ok. Addressograph Graphotype Class 350 Metal Plate RAISED LETTERS Embosser T350
Addressograph Graphotype Model 350. I have seen these called a T350 and TT350. I do not know if there is a difference. WYSIWYG. This in an EMBOSSING TYPE VERSION which to my understanding is a RARE FIND compared to the debossing models. Text on the embossed plates is RAISED(like a credit card number) as opposed to the more common debossed(pressed down text) models. See photos. The machine appears to be operational. Carriage properly spaces one space at a time with each actuation of the embossing handle. A partial stroke of the operating handle will space the carriage without embossing a character. The operating mechanism works smoothly. The lever on the rear left will also release the carriage sideways and/or provide single spaces if desired. The lever on the left front releases the in/out position of the plate. The upper punch of the"BLANK" ... moreand"c/o" letter dies are missing. All other fonts are in place. What is the purpose of a"BLANK" and"c/o" anyway? The handle on the letter carriage slide was repaired and appears to be quite sturdy. I did not want to hide the fact that it was repaired. Be sure to view ALL 12 PHOTOS of this item. The sample plate shown was embossed and photographed on 21 JUNE 2013. This classic machine will be carefully packed for UPS shipping. NO PO BOXES) Slide handle will be removed for safe transport(2 screws) and the letter carriage slide will be removed and wrapped separately from the main chassis. The carriage can be easily reinstalled by guiding it onto the rollers from the left and pressing a spring loaded lever underneath the hood. This auction is for one boxed Dymo Deluxe 1765 This looks to me like it's from the 1980s and has a distinct font It works with 6mm and 9mm tape and you can change the font wheel One thing to note is that when I tested it the tape occasionally failed to advance This may just be to do with the tape that's fitted. As you can see from the pictures there is a little window where you can see the last letter typed so you can see when it hasn't advanced and manually pull it forward a little This has a black unbranded 9mm tape fitted.
