DTG Kiosk 2 Printer + Parts - Tjet, Anajet
Up for sale is a DTG Kiosk 2 direct to garment printer plus extra new print head and parts. This printer is great for anyone who is wanting to start out in the direct to garment business. This printer has been well kept and is in excellent condition. 100% working. I did great business with this printer and I just upgraded to a newer model of printer and don't need this one anymore. I have been a certified dtg tech for many years so you can fell safe in knowing that this printer has been well kept. I refurbished the printer myself. Gave it a new paint job since top cover had scratches. You can paint it whatever color you want. The print head installed only has about 50 shirts printed and has been fully flushed out of any ink with cleaning solution. The print head has never gone more then a few hours of sitting with ink in it. I always ... moreflushed out the ink with the cleaning cartridges. Capping and pump assembly has been refurbished as well. As you will see in one of the pictures I stripped down the printer and cleaned it up. I also replaced the Epson engine just a few months ago with a newer one. You will see that the engine almost looks like new. Other similar printers on ebay are not 100% working and in most cases you will have to spend hundreds of dollars more in parts to get them working. Most cases the print heads are clogged and that is an expensive part. I do suggest to get some basic training in learning how to print and more importantly the maintenance of the printer. I can offer phone/email/skype support for you at an additional cost and I will make sure to train you on everything you need to know. What you see in the pictures is what you get. This is not a complete package that will allow you to start printing right away. You will still need to get some other items to start printing. Some you may already have. I wanted to show the printer printing so I made a quick video of this printer printing a POC for a design we used during the holidays. Brother GT-541 Direct to Garment Industrial Printer Brother GT-541 DTG Printer Brother GT-541 Cleaning Cartridge(x2) Brother GT-541 Nozzle Cleaning Kit Brother GT-541 Filter Cartridge(x4) Brother GT-541 Manual Brother GT-541 CD Brother GT-541 Printer Stand Brother 14" x 16" Platen Speedy Platen(x2) We used the printer for mock ups and proof of concepts for customers. It has very low prints(as seen in the picture) Which in many cases can be better then refurbished because the machine hasn't been through the wear and tear. A Brother Technician was just here servicing a different piece of equipment and we had him give this printer a once over recalibrating it etc. He said it looked great other then ... morethe ink cartridges have expired. Even though they have expired we haven't had any problems with it but he recommended that they all be replaced but if not all at the very least the yellow cartridge be replaced. A picture of the test print is included to show that their are no problems with the print heads. This printer also includes 2 Speed Platens. We purchased them when we purchased the machine thinking they would come in handy when we used it for full production but that never really happened due to available man power. This print is sold as is and unfortunately we will not be able to do refunds on this item though it is in fantastic condition so I don't know why you would want to return it. It will print light color shirts but not darks as the white will not print. Not sure why. It needs to go back to Anajet and have the B and C revisions. That is about $2500. It might also need print heads. About $4000. Does work on light shirts. The CMYK heads print fine with almost no banding. White is another story. I am soaking heads right now which more than likely will get the CMYK working just fine but that is not a guarantee. I am asking what I paid for it which was $6995 shipped. But I will also accept offers. I am just going to buy a Sprint direct from Anajet as I do not have time to wait for the refurbish. Up for sale is a used T-JET I purchased from a garage sale this was a family trying to sell tshirts and other products. They showed me that the machine worked and printed some tshirts for me but they said it needed to stay on and cycle everyday to make sure ink would not dry out. I told them I wouldnt be using it for some time and they put cleaning solution cartridges in and took the ink out. Its been six months and I still have not used it. And probably never will so here it is. The machine looks dirty and he said it had not been serviced for a year when he got it. He also said he rarely used it. As mentioned we just don't have the business to utilize this machine. And like any ink jet printer. sitting idle requires more maintenance and cleaning. I have decided to cut my losses. We run a test print everyday and the CMYK is fine. The white ink tends to clog more and is more costly. So for now there is no white ink installed, just cleaning fluid in the white cartridges and lines. Our business is a full service embroidery, screen print, and digital sign shop, but the demand for the DTG printing does not justify the costs of supplies.
