Machine was previously used with a TD1 stacker(which I also have listed online under my current auctions) Machine was being used by a local library and appears to be in good working condition. My knowledge in testing this type of equipment is limited. But I was able to successfully power it on and make the rollers go in forward and reverse so to speak. It does plug into a standard 110V outlet. Cosmetically. The machine shows minor marks from normal use, but looks good overall. While I don't know the technical names, I did notice that the white roller cap is missing off of station number 16, and both the black and white piece are missing off of station number 1. Listing is for a vintage Gatherett collator manufactured by Wirth Co. Inc. of Oakland California. Closed measures 11" long. 10 1/4" tall, and 6 3/4" wide. Opens up to 8 feet long with 18 slots. There is one inner joined bar(s) that has light surface rust, otherwise no rust. The two bottom center rivets appear to have not been fully pressed, and there is some denting, but neither affect the mechanical workings. Vintage Evans Collator Industrial Aluminum Magazine Holder Etc.
This vintage Evans collator works perfectly and is in very good condition. With only typical tiny scratches to the aluminum. It originally had manufacturer's label stickers on each end, but I didn't think they added anything to its appearance(I bought this to hold magazines) so I removed one and I guess got a bit lazy and only partially removed the other. I'm sure the bit of sticker residue could be removed if desired, but since I noticed it only after photographing this, I'll leave that optional chore up the the new owner. I did give this a good gentle cleaning in mild detergent and thorough rinsing when I first purchased it, so it's clean and ready to use as a very cool vintage industrial magazine display rack!
