Late 1970's Wagway Hydraulic Sheer(Model Number Unknown) For sale is a late 1970’s Wagway Mobile Hydraulic Metal Shear for scrap metal processing. Similar to a Labounty hydraulic shear. Unit is in good, working condition. It is an excavator stick replacement attachment with new edge cutting blades. Unit was removed from service in our yard this year when we purchased a larger shear, however, we no longer have the ability to demonstrate the unit because of hydraulic connection compatibility. Patent Description: The metal cutting shear and adapter for mounting on a backhoe comprises a fixed blade having a movable blade pivoted to it. The fixed blade being mounted in an adapter which in turn is adapted to be pivotally mounted on the end of a boom or dip stick ... moreof a back hoe in place of the normal bucket. A piston and cylinder on the boom of the backhoe engages the adapter so as to impart pivotal motion and a second piston and cylinder on the fixed blade engages the movable blade so as to move it in a shearing relation with respect to the fixed blade. This hydraulic shear came out of a local boces that ended the program. It is rated for 1/4 inch and I have powered it up and cut 1/4.Works as it should. Blades have never been flipped and original edge is still sharp.It will cut 48 inches wide. Year is 2005 and hasn't been used alot. The cutting table is guaranteed for life in writing from the factory. Table only is guaranteed against breakage and nothing else.Has a 60 inch squaring extension that was a 850.00 dollar option. Blind Nut, Hi-Kor Blind Fasteners, and Hi-Sert and Blind-Sert Inserts. The guns are operated by hydraulic pressure supplied from Power Units BP7000, BH245 and BH25A. The gun is designed for operation simplicity and for worker confort. The worker presses three control buttons in a ON, PULL and OFF sequence with his thumb. This rotates the Gun’s mandrel in a clockwise motion, engaging the expander; retracts the mandrel in a counterclockwise motion, releasing the mandrel from the expander. End-loading by the worker is not required, only nominal effort by one hand to properly position the Gun to the hole. The all-purpose BG2500 Gun installs all sizes(up through 1/2” diameter) of Blind Bolts and Blind Nuts. It is most efficient for Blind Bolts starting in-8(1/4) and Blind Nuts in 8-32 and larger sizes.
