10-3/4" vintage USA QMC TSK stainless/silverplate handle carving fork/stand
I got a bunch of older utensils came along with some stuff I got at an auction. I do not collect. So looked for a new home for them. This looks to be a fork from a carving set. It is 10-3/4" long and has a piece that flips out to keep it off the table. Prong end is marked stainless but the handle looks like it is silver plate with little flower pattern on it. Back of the prongs near the handle is marked USAQMCTSK a little flower Stainless. Needs a good cleaning. But seem to be in nice condition. Hate to throw out if someone can use it. Large vintage mid-century WMF Cromargan stainless buffet server w/ warming stand
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Large vintage mid-century WMF Cromargan Switzerland stainless buffet server with warming stand This substantial piece is in very good vintage condition. It was used and does have some utensil scratches in the interior of the handled pan. There are also some smaller scratches from use to the lid and on the base of the bain marie. Still in very good condition considering it’s age and size. Measures about 9.5” tall with the lid on and 16” wide to tip of the handle. The handled pan is about 10” diameter and 3” deep. The bain marie is 9 15/16” diameter and a little under 3” deep. Only the bain marie is marked with the WMF Cromargan Switzerland 72 mark. The black iron stand is in good shape with one or two small areas of wear and a rough spot near one foot like it may have started to rust at one point ... moreand then was sanded. It’s not very noticeable when in use or on display. The fuel burner unit is in good shape and swivels to adjust the flame intensity. I’m not sure if it is meant to come apart to add more fuel- there seems to be a sort of foam under a mesh cover inside of it right now but I was unable to separate it/open it up. This is a heavy duty stainless steel and iron base and will weigh 11-12 lbs safely packed.
