There are pontels on the bottom of each(see picture) but if you look really close on the neck it appears to have a mold seam. Find it hard to figure if they are hand blown or not. Lids are really thick and heavy with some pitting. But does not detract from their aged beauty. When you remove the tops there is roughness around the hole(see picture) I'm showing the worst of the two here. The roughness does not show when lids are on, nor does it affect the ability for the tops to screw on in any way. Plent of threading and good fits. Great deep cuts in the glass showing off a great heavy pattern. These have been in my family for over 45 years and not sure of their exact age. Just two little heavy gorgeous pieces! VINTAGE SANDWICH GLASS STYLE CURTAIN TIEBACKS
Offered for auction is a pair of Sandwich style curtain tiebacks that measure approximately 4 1/8" across. This pair of tiebacks looks to have a brass stem. I am not familiar with how to test the metal so cannot be sure of its content. The metal post holding the glass in place is just over 4" long. They are a pretty pattern.
