The chairs still have the original seats which would need to be replaced. There are holes for caning if wanted. The 5th leg of the table lost its caster. This is a very old kitchen table scarf with teapots. Cups& saucers, delicate flowers and lace along the edges. It is in good shape considering its age- there are two tiny holes. Antique Possum Table - Baker's Table for Kitchen - Age Unknown
Old possum table. It's in very nice condition. The hutch part just sits on top of the enamel table top. The enamel table top has some wear but it is an antique piece so it really adds to the look and appearance. The enamel has some staining and some chipping along the edges on the wrap. There is a breadboard pull-out just above the bottom drawers beneath the table top. The bottom drawer bottoms are metal and I believe are made of tin but I am not an antique dealer so don't know for sure. For bid is an original 1930s Art Deco Machine Age chromium with black top and red accent stripes kitchen or hall table. Features tubular chrome construction and sleek modernist design resulting in a timeless and iconic style. For bid is a vintage 1940's enamelware lift top kitchen table in very good condition considering age. Table has a couple of chips on enamel but nothing major. Mechanics on table wings are all functional and in good shape, table legs have surface rust but this can be corrected in a number of ways. This table was purchased in 1998 at an antique mercato in Naples Italy. The exact year of manufacture is unknown. But was sent to a local craftsman who said it was hand made and probably around 100 years old or more. I have the shipping document from Italy attached as a photo.
