I found that the AC30 was too loud for most venues and hence I only used it for a small handful of shows. Then it went into storage for many years. I have fully tested it and everything works great. I particularly like the sound of the plate and hall reverbs. Boss came out with newer models. But many prefer the tone and texture of this older vintage model. This is a DF242-CA Scholar Plus 2400 bps modem. Complete with power supply. It might work. Or it might not work. I no longer have a working computer with a serial port. So I can not test it. When powered on, the test loop light blinks and the SI light comes on. There are some clicks. As of relay contacts. The dial tone comes through the telephone set port. I'm willing to try other tests. The board in the modem says copyright 1986. I found a reference to a manual published in 1987 that describes the modem. The only reason I have to suspect the modem might not work is the case was not securely closed when I picked it up. The four screws that hold the bottom and top together were missing.
